Overall an incredible shoe. Stiff but still gives you plenty of feel on your flat pedals. Rugged toe box and heel protection. My one issue is the laces. I know that’s a dumb thing and that’s easy to change, but if I’m already paying $150 for shoes at least make the laces not pull apart when I’m undoing a double knot. No other issues though. Love love and brings tons of confidence riding.

Wow! My first time wearing proper MTB shoes, and I genuinely can't believe the difference compared to my usual regular trainers. The confidence it gives me on the bike is absolutely incredible, knowing that I'll stay on. I'd fallen off my bike a few times recently on regular trainers, so gave these a go and I'm absolutely stunned at the difference!
Super comfy and smart to wear off the bike as well. Very supportive. Only used in the dry but with heavy puddles, and feet were nice and dry
Runs a bit small so size up

Having worn and sworn by 5ten Freeriders for many years I thought I would treat myself to a pair of Pro's. Only used in the dry so far but impressed with the quality of manufacture. Very durable upper which appears to be moulded or welded to the sole. Very sticky sole and not too thick so good combination of stability and feel from the bike.

These are perfect for flat pedal mountain bikes. However, beware! Adidas has purchased Five Ten, and some of the models are normal sneakers dressed up as mountain bike shoes. I had previously purchased some sleuth DLX PU’s and they would have lasted a day mabe on the bike. I kept them for normal kicks

As per usual, the freerider range proves itself to be reliable and quality in both build and design. It's a Nifty colour way that's nice and simple. Overall they grip to the pedals perfectly with the stealth soles, and are nicely lined to keep your feet warm enough even during the colder days. As for daily use, they're pretty good for even just walking around in, the ortholite insole sees to that nicely comfort wise. They maintain that stiffness that's key for an MTB shoe without compromising on the comfort of your feet that other shoes sometimes tend to neglect. Highly recommend to anyone in the market for a well built shoe that looks good and performs even better.

Great look, grips the petals for a secure ride, the reinforced toe gives you stability as you touch the street when coming to a stop.

So comfy, look amazing in white and the gum rubber seems grippier than the normal black fiveten soles.

This is my 2nd pair they are a great fit and great quality. I have tried to get other 510's but they never seem to be available in my size. Always wanted the goretex boots with BOA but these are never in the 14.5. Did order a pair (cant quite remember which ones) but got an email to say they didnt actually have them instock that was a bit of a disappointment so just went for another pair the same as what I already have. Would also love to see the 14.5s actually available to buy in the high street as it would be nice to be able to try on prior to ordering. These trainers do not disappoint especially for the larger footed person

The fit is excellent, the stiffness is just perfect, and overall, I feel it's the best shoe in the marketplace. I have a pair of the clipless 5/10's too. I love them both. Thank you!

If you ride a mountain bike, stop wearing regular running shoes. These make such a big difference when it comes to having my feet not slip off the pedals.

The freerider line has been my go to for years. The Freerider Pros are stuff enough for long pedal days and comfortable enough for any after ride adventures. They are also very durable. I won't buy any other riding shoes.

Just wide enough to not squish my D width feet. The lacing is great too. The sole is a bit thin, so you may need to strategically remove a pin from your platform pedals to avoid drilling a hole thru the sole (I've had 3 pair of these and now know how to avoid that). They wear well, hold their shape, dry quickly and are my go-to shoe for mtb!
