I love the overall style, material & look. However, it runs large, so I ended up with a size bigger than needed. It slips up my chest as I run. Therefore there is way more bounce than I prefer. I like my girls to stay put. A size down may work better. I do not want to invest in another to find out. I'm disappointed. I hoped this would be my new go-to sports bra.

Be aware the color runs. After wearing and washing the bra a couple of times I wore it under a white tank during my workout. The color bled horribly onto my shirt and ruined it. No amount of washing or bleach will get it out. If it has been happening at every workout it hasn?t been visible on grey or darker colored tops. Overall the bra is ok but could be better. The straps on the back are cute but tend to twist when you are putting it on and are almost impossible to straighten while you are wearing it. The band at the bottom needs to be wider and made of a thicker material or reinforced, it folds up easily and often. I do like the feel of the fabric on me and it breathes nicely. Straps stay put and don?t slide down my shoulders. I?m larger in the bust and the bra gives good support.

I ordered the size I have ordered on other bras and according to the chart. The bra was way too small.

I've owned multiple bras from the Juno forward, and I must say that this is Brooks' biggest miss for me. The seams do not lie flat, but after a couple of five milers I thought it would be fine. One very bloody and chafed half marathon later, it's trash. Brooks needs to bring back the original designer that worked for Moving Comfort. The current ones are missing the mark.

I was very disappointed with the Dare Underwire bra. I am a huge fan of the Maia and Juno bras and have worn them for years. When Brooks discontinued those two, I decided to give the Dare Underwire bra a try. I assumed that I would love it. It was extremely uncomfortable and not anywhere near as supportive as the Maia or Juno. I can't understand why Brooks decided to get rid of two such amazing bras and replace it with this. Bring back the Maia!!!

I am so disappointed in this bra. The fabric is too stretchy & does not lie flat against my rib cage. I have the Rosewater color. After one washing it is stained bright yellow from sweat. I have never had a Brooks bra do that. The straps are too narrow and not cushioned at all, so dig into my skin. The criss-cross back comes unhooked & is complicated to put on.

I really wanted to love this bra. Yet, I do not. It felt comfortable to me when I first put it on and I was excited and hopeful. In fact, the front of the bra has a nice line under my work out and running clothing. When I started running though, it was a disaster. The straps slip (a lot!) and since there isn't the strong velcro straps (like the Juno had!!), I cannot adjust the straps while running. It's a mess. Also, even though I thought the material would be sturdy enough for me, it is not. After one wear the material felt weak and I will not being trying to run in it again. I'm soooo disappointed. I'm a small woman with larger breasts and the Juno was ideal for me. It's super hard to find a replacement running bra. I'm really not sure why Brooks messed with perfection.

Comfortable for anything other than actually running. I?m a DDD and this bra is no better than a regular bra. The underwire chafes, the straps slip and I still bounce all over the place. Bring back the Juno!!!

When I first purchased this bra I thought it was the solution to all my running woes. I did take the size finder quiz and Brooks recommended a band two sizes bigger than I normally wear, which was surprising. I went ahead and ordered the size I have in their other bras and am glad I did because this bra has completely stretched out. I would've been swimming in the size they recommended. When I first put it on I was pleased with the fabric and fit. It does hold me in and doesn't create the bulge I've experienced with other tight sports bras. Unfortunately, what I gained in comfort I lost as soon as I started running. So much bounce that I cannot wear this for any high impact workout, let alone a long run. The bra band has stretched out significantly. Even wearing it on the tightest setting now (in my usual Brooks size) I can fit two fingers under it. The strap design seemed cute but I've also found it nearly impossible to wear the criss cross style without the straps getting all twisted around when putting it on. They rarely ever lay flat. I will continue to wear this for another activity like spinning but not for anything more.

I have been a brooks bra "wearer" for many years.... (My last bras were the Maia... Great full coverage fit and function. Super comfortable and great support, ...I am a 34 DD or larger depending on cup fit- but Brooks has discontinued this style)....The Dare Underwire Run Bra did not provide complete coverage for my breasts - and I have to have my husband help me to get into it.... LOVE the color that I purchased, so have to be selective in what my activity is going to be when I wear this bra...

This bra does not meet my expectations at all - uniboob look, insufficient compression, complicated straps. Have worn the Maia bra (36 E or G) for many years even for every day, and have recommended it to other large busted running friends. I love the Maia fit and highly recommend you bring it back. I know I would immediately purchase 4 or 5 of them if you did.

I bought this bra for running, but it doesn?t offer enough support. The girls 36DD bounce like crazy. I bought a 36D hoping for some additional compression, but the smaller size actually fit. The straps don?t stay at the appropriate length, because the clasps that are supposed to adjust the length slide a lot. The material is pretty soft, which probably leads to all the bounce. This bra will be for Pilates and maybe yoga.

if you're running more than a mile, please get any of their other sports bras - the wire in this one cut the crease between my breasts really really badly - still putting Neosporin on it daily and hoping it doesn't scar. i have 3 other brooks sports bras that are great, just this one with the underwire really messed my chest up.

I LOVED my Maia bra, why in the world did you ever discontinue it and replace it with this. The large chested ladies loved Maia, not this one! This one isn't even in my rotation. I am desperately holding on to my old Maias, even tho they are falling apart. Please please please bring back the Maia and get rid of this one. The reviews should speak volumes to you, not sure why you guys aren't listening

Heavy neoprene/wetsuit-like material that manages to be not very supportive while feeling constrictive, hot and holds moisture against the skin. Do not recommend for endurance or longer lasting exercise. I'm still searching for something to replace the Maia.

What happened? I bought one of these several years ago and it was the most AMAZING sports bra ever!! I needed to replace it and just got it. I am incredibly disappointed. It?s awful. The new style feels like a uniboob and the material is cheap feeling. I?m now embarrassed because I tell everyone that what a great sports bra this is. The changes are terrible and you should?ve left an amazing product alone. I will be returning it. A absolute believer turned very unhappy customer.

Brookes u failed on this so badly. I love your shoes but this bra was not built for big chested women and it shows. The material feels cheap. It rubs when it says that it chafe free comfort. U need to work with bigger chested runners to get a better bra to fit our needs. There is no one size runner and u need to work with the runners that are bigger chested to see what their needs r in bras.

I miss the Juno bras sooooo much! Bring them back, please! This underwire bra is a tragedy. The hook clips on the straps slip multiple times a day, and that is just with basic activities. I would never in a million years wear this bra working out, especially not running. The plastic circle rings holding the straps are also a nuisance; they squeak anytime I move my shoulders and it is annoying. I have surprisingly gotten used to the underwire but once again, I would never workout with a sports bra that contains underwire. I went from buying multiple pairs of Junos years ago that have lasted me 6+ years to potentially changing my running bra brand for the first time.

Did not like this bra at all. I love my other Brooks bras, but this one with the underwire, did not fit. It gapped at the top and side and was not comfortable. I will not order any others with underwire.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
The straps are way to short, this is not a D Cup either. Really small.

The older design was much better. The straps constantly unlatch and the cup provides far less support.
