Excellent wicking, but runs large and is very uncomfortable

Bra is nicely made and was delivered in good time. However I find that even with the wired seperated cups, the bra still mashes my breats together. I had to reorder sizes as my usual size (40 DD to DDD) was way too small. Called for consultation on what size to get, and no offense, but a nice gentleman answered who did not understand my questions about sizing. ( You have to wear a bra to able to understand some things. Just like I couldn't give advice on a jockey strap). He said he would have someone call me who could help, but no one ever did. So I sought help from another vendor who answered my questions promptly but they did not have my size. So I ordered it here. I ordered a 42DD, it is still a little small but it will do. I measured the band and it barely measures 40 inches although it's a 42 size. I find the band underneath the wires rolls up and doesn't stay in place. In previous years I've had 3 Maia bras, 2 by Moving Comfort and 1 by Brooks/Moving Comfort. I'll have to say the first two I had were superior to the Brooks/Moving Comfort. When my 3 rd bra ( the Brooks one) broke a wire, I went back to an old Moving Comfort that was still useable; it was just stretched out a bit but no broken wires or frayed material or anything else. I think the Dare might have potential, but it's not there yet for me anyway. Like MANY other reviewers, I'm pleading to bring back the Maia. It worked! And worked well! I hope someone in the industry would please keep those of us who are older (69) and large breasted but still active and in need of good comfortable support in mind when designing bras. It seems like most sports bras ( and other sports wear) designers forget about us. Thanks for the effort to make good products but PLEASE make the Maia available again. There are just not many options.

Please bring back the velcro. Never have to worry about the should getting bigger when I run with the Fiona.

Good support, pretty comfortable. Not my most supportive sports bra as a 32DDD, but will keep it in the rotation until something better comes along. Love the adjustability.

I was trying to replace an old Brooks running bra (actually two of them; I liked them so much, I bought two) that lasted and lasted, but I lost some weight and wanted a new one. I couldn?t find the style, so the online assistance guided me to this one which a.) is nothing like the old one and b.) stretches out, so if you do buy it (not recommended), get it too small to account for stretching. Maybe smaller-breasted women can get away with this, but I?m going to have to got into a store and try on other brands now that Brooks has stopped making the serious running bras. (I should note, I?ve bought Brook?s newer styles for non-impact activities and find them quite comfortable, although the issue of stretching out is still there.)

Problem may be that I needed to size down but I would not be comfortable running b/c of bounce. Comfortable for hiking/walking.

I actually didn't love this bra for running but found it super useful for dance. It doesn't smash my breasts, but that also means that they move around more when I'm running (I have a large chest). But for dance where there is less bouncing up and down the bra is a good amount of support while also not squishing down my breasts.

It would be great if the sizing weren't so far off. It's much smaller than stated. I can't wear the 40 because I can't breathe in it. I can barely fasten it. I can wear most 38s and I bought a 40 just in case I needed more room. The color is nice, blends into my skin so I can wear it with white blouses as well as when distance walking. The fabric is comfortable in the extreme heat of Arizona.

Bra is pretty good! There are few underwire bras nowadays. However, the adjustable straps aren?t comfortable and you can feel them tugging when you run. Overall just not as comfortable as hoped

Comfortable but not a great running bra for large breasts. Too much bounce. I will keep for low impact exercise.

I'm not the biggest fan of underwire sports bra. Decided to give this bra a go. It's got a great shape but wires are uncomfortable for me. It does provide support & is flattering & controls bounce. Unfortunately underwires aren't for me.

I prefer to be locked down, as a DD, when they move around, it's not good. I feel like I'm going to bruise my chin. I like the Heliotrope color, I thought the fabric was nice and I liked the adjustable straps. I did the "jump" test and and my DDs did a lot of flopping, which ruled this bra out. I miss Juno. I wish Brooks would bring back Juno.

I was hoping it would be like Maia but it doesn't. I would use it for workouts or walking but not my marathon training.

I had read reviews of Brooks new Dare line, and they didn't seem so great. But after a hearing a talk by a gal who works for Brooks and know's their bras well, I thought I would give them a try. When I first put this bra on, I immediately liked the way it fit. I liked the coverage and how the bra lays against my skin. However, it really isn't all that supportive for movement like running. I have only worn Brooks Juno/moving comfort bra for running. Felt tucked in, secure, supported, and I liked the velcro adjustable straps. This bra has a lot of fabric to it to not feel supported. It would be nice to have more compression at the top of the bra to feel more secure. I'm not giving up on Brooks bra's, because I honestly don't know what I would purchase instead. So I will try a different style, but I don't think this bra is quite there yet.

I found it was just not supportive enough for running. I prefer no bounce/to feel held in, and this bra allowed for too much movement for me personally. I ordered a 34E and it felt really tight at first, but after wearing it for an hour it seemed to loosen up quite a lot. The fabric is great though - very breathable, and I will keep it since it will still work for low impact activities like hiking or yoga. The only bra that I have ever been able to wear just one of for running was the Juno - please bring it back!

I?m a 40dd... it was pretty good in the beginning but it loses its shape/hold after a few wears... needs more compression.

Not at all impressed with this product, mush bunches up and the straps never stay hooked. I had such high hopes 2 miles in and the straps came unhooked.

I LOVED my Maia bra, why in the world did you ever discontinue it and replace it with this. The large chested ladies loved Maia, not this one! This one isnt even in my rotation. I am desperately holding on to my old Maias, even tho they are falling apart. Please please please bring back the Maia and get rid of this one. The reviews should speak volumes to you, not sure why you guys arent listening

The bra appeared to be well made, but the sizing is way off. I ordered my normal band size, but couldn't get the two ends of the bra around me - pulled as hard as possible and still had a 3 inch gap. I have been a dedicated customer due to great support for large busts - I loved my Comfort in Motion sports bras - but I am moving on to another brand. None of the Brooks bras fit me any more.

Heavy neoprene/wetsuit-like material that manages to be not very supportive while feeling constrictive, hot and holds moisture against the skin. Do not recommend for endurance or longer lasting exercise. I'm still searching for something to replace the Maia.

This fabric was very light and yet still supportive. It is a double layer type of situation, so the inner layer has the wire and the outer layer covers the top. It causes a little extra friction because those two layers are independent of each other.
