This was a good purchase. I really like the look. The part of the boot that comes in contact with my shin is quite stiff and rubs a little. I bought some moleskin and attached it to the inside and it's not as uncomfortable. Hopefully as I wear them the stiffness will be less.

These shoes fit great and are very comfortable. The only problem I found with them is that the the shoe hits the front of the leg., and it rubs when you walk. I am keeping the shoes because I feel like after I wear them a few times, that part of the shoe will soften and become more comfortable. I am also working on bending that part of the shoe to relax it some. I recommend these shoes.

I am only removing 1 star because I bought the medium width and after trying them on, I unfortunately need the wider-width. I have other, older Life Strides in my closet that are not wide-width, so I was hoping these would be the same. These are true to size and width, as the medium is too narrow for me. I really wanted to make them work but, they are just too restricting. Will be buying these boots again when the wider-widths are available.

Love the look of these - looks like suede but more durable. Slightly wide in the heel so I had a lot of slippage. Foot bed is quite hard. However, I inserted a thin over-the-counter insole and it works wonderfully - no more heel slip and much softer insole.

Liked these at first but they have not held up well. I’m not the most gentle on my shoes but even the first minor scuff caused the faux leather to peel right off and expose the much lighter layer underneath. Would not buy again.

I am so frustrated—these boots fit perfectly, but the material of the upper is poor quality. After wearing twice, the top layer of the material is separating from the layers beneath, making what look like bubbles or wrinkles (difficult to photograph on black). I would absolutely return them except I've been utterly unable to find another suitable black ankle boot to replace them with. So I will probably wear them this winter until they get just too awful-looking to wear and then throw them out and try again next year.

They seemed pretty snug for medium width and if shoes are not just right I can feel something that feels like my bones being rolled in my foot. Not something that ever goes well for a long walk about. The shoes are very cute and I think I would love them if they were wide enough. I don't usually purchase wide shoes, but wish I had for these.

Comfortable and good looking bootie. But, everything sticks to the fabric. I recommend buying a lint roller in conjunction with buying this shoe, especially if you have animals.

These were the best of the three pairs I tried, but still it was very hard to get my feet (which was a problem with this pair only, oddly) and the zipper was very hard to pull up.

While I loved the idea of the comfort of LifeStride shoes, and I love some of the styles, I can't seem to find a size that fits well. I liked the style of these Ally Booties. However, while the right bootie felt a little snug with a sock, I couldn't get the left one to fit on at all. I usually wear a 6M in most shoes, but it was too big with LifeStride. So, I went with 5 1/2 M. That did not work out with these booties. I am disappointed that I may not be able to buy LifeStride shoes. I would want to try them on in a store first if I were to buy them.

Shoes arrived in their shoe box instead of the shoes box being shipped in a mailing box like I expected for a pair of shoes that are so expensive. The color wasn't what I expected and is more of a normal brown than mushroom color. Slightly disappointed as this is a gift for my sister who picked them out. The shoes look in good condition so hopefully it won't be too much of an issue.
