I read a LOT of reviews, many of which were very helpful, before trying four pairs of booties. The four I tried were (left to right in the photo) Rocket Dog Gemma, Born Ozark, Dr. Scholl's Brianna, and Life Stride Ally. To help others reading reviews I'll comment on all four. For reference, I wear a 9 in Chacos and a 10 in Asics. I have plantar fasciitis and a bunion on my left big toe. I'll start by saying that "moderate arch support" is a euphemism for the insole is cushioned, but it doesn't actually mean there is legitimate arch support like sneakers. All four pairs have non-removable insoles. Life Stride Ally, size 9.5 W, fit was fine, the cushioning was adequate, and heel height was perfect, but the fabric is oddly shiny and the shaft is so stiff it was banging against the front of my ankle just walking around the house. The Dr. Scholl's Brianna, size 9.5 M, had decent cushioning and I really liked the quiet rubber heel, but the fit was snug across the toe box and like the Life Stride pair, the material was uncomfortably stiff. Additionally, the zippers are on the outside of the boot, which I think is weird and could snag clothing when you cross your legs. The Born Ozark, size 9.5 M, is a little bit long, the leather is soft, the low heel height is great, there is slightly more support in the insole, and the soles are quiet rubber. The biggest drawback is that they make my feet look really big, like clown feet. Still thinking about this pair, might try a 9. The Rocket Dog Gemma, size 10 M, feel good across the toe box, but are too big overall because my heel lifts out quite a bit. They are super soft, although the cut out means you have to wear really short socks in black or gray so they are not noticeable, which isn't a problem with the other styles. The heel is noticeably taller on these compared to the other three. There is really no support in the insole, but I'm trying different inserts to see if I can make them work because I like the styling of these the best. It's ironic that the pair with the least compatible fit is actually the pair I like most, so I'm optimistic that a smaller size will work.

These are great boots! Stylish without a super high heel. However, my feet are pretty narrow and these fit snuggly with socks on so if you have wide feet these may not work.

They even looked like a Medium width instead of a WIDE that I needed. I did get my foot into the boot and it was not as tight as i had expected except in one place near where some people get bunions (I don't have one). It was painful in that spot. Also it was stiff and just really not comfortable at all. Returning these.

I wear a 7 and these fit perfectly. I was happy to have the option of the wider width. I tried these on when they arrived and kept them on for hours. The next two days were long days out and I wore them again. They are comfortable right out of the box, do not need breaking in. I’m happy with this purchase

Really cute boots, nice fit, true to size. Will probably wear with socks that are slightly taller than ankle socks, so that the tops of the boots don't chafe my skin. Other than that, they're great.

It is hard for me to find shoes that are comfortable, but these booties fit great! I will be ordering in another color!

Normal a regular width, but Glad I read the other reviews and ordered the wide. The fit is terrific if wearing any kind of sock. I noticed that Bare Trapps boots are running narrower this season as well.

These boots required NO breaking in. They were very comfortable from the first wearing. I couldn’t believe it. Would recommend to anyone.

These were ordered as a wide and that is what the shoe and box stated it was, but this shoe was so very narrow. I could not even get my foot in it and I tried to give them to 2 other people who also could not get their foot in the shoe. Do not order if you need a true wide width shoe or you will be returning like I am

This is the second pair of shoes I've ordered from the same brand (LifeStride) and I couldn't be more satisfied. I was looking for something comfortable and stylish as well as professional and these hit the spot! I am a petite size 5 and have narrow dainty feet causing a lot of problems with shoe sizing in general but these fit perfectly! The order shipped on time and arrived a day in advance. The shoes look exactly as advertised and appear to be of good quality. Overall, a very happy customer :)

Fits true to size and comfortable!

Love these booties with skinny ankle jeans.

I am usually between a 11wide & 12- and I ordered 11wide. These are still quite narrow though the toe box. They are also not as good as quality as my previous LifeStride boots (probably 7 years old) which I was really disappointed in. The biggest thing though? I had 1 shoe that was an 11wide & the other was an 8.5 wide! They sent me 2 different sized shoes in the box!! They're Going back

Bought these shoes for my niece and she was very happy. She said comfortable and loves the look.

I normally wear a size 9 medium width, but my left foot is slightly longer than my right, so I decided to go with a 9.5. Since these are not real leather, I figured they would not stretch much. The 9.5 fits perfectly and my feet don't look too long. These are very comfortable and cute. I'm looking forward to wearing them.

Another style that I loved but the toe box was too narrow and these had to be returned. Thank you, Zappos, for your amazing business model that allows customers to try on and try on and try on!!!

These are really cute! The color is really nice! There is a bit of cushion support so they are very comfortable.

Comfortable from first wearing. I got many compliments on these too. They look good and I literally wore them out. Will get another pair.

I returned these. They were too narrow, especially in the toe box. I should’ve ordered a wide because all boots are too narrow for me even though I don’t wear wide in shoes. They felt a little stiff and cheap but I would’ve kept them if they fit, I loved the low heel and I thought they looked good. I found different boots in a store so I just returned instead of trying the wide.

Comfortable shoe

For a person w fallen arches, this is a cute, comfortable bootie. The insoles do not come out. I buy 1/2 size larger & put my 3/4 insole in. Perfect. Very stable. They aren’t leather. They aren’t expensive . When they wear out, buy another pair. Plenty of toe room. I have bought in black & mushroom. Nice.

Sizing was perfect - sometimes a shoe will claim to be Wide with but this one truly was. Great heel height and cute look with jeans.

The fit was great. I normally wear 7.5 or 8 and these fit great with socks, which is what I wanted. They are comfortable right out of the box. No need to break in.
