Not a fan of the inner lining sometimes pinches the inner thigh.

Loved the shorts, right out of the package. I remember them being Super comfortable and lightweight. I washed them and cannot currently locate(that should tell you how I really feel about them). I cannot tell you if they have pockets. My big issue with them, as run/walk shorts, was that my thighs gobbled them up:( They were were highly recommended as ?they will not ride up? shorts. They rode up almost immediately. Continually pulling down the crotch before chafing can ensue, makes for a very unpleasant walk. I will probably use them for lounging around. Which stinks because they weren?t cheap but I also hope, that as I get leaner thighs, this won?t be an issue and they will be a 5 star short:)

Cute shorts that are comfortable for running. They are not too short, I am 6? tall and middle aged. Love the blue color. Great quality.

These shirts are pretty good. I bought them so my legs would not chafe on my long runs. They work however the tight underpants does ride up a little. Much better then shoets without the tighter undergarment bit not perfect. However I like them enough that I'll probably order another pair.

Does not ride up and get gobbled by my thighs! However I do have a bigger bum than most and it seems tight across the bum side but loose on the front. Not exactly flowy but they are still cute. Good length! True to size

Love these shorts, ordered a medium and they fit perfect! I?m usually an 8-10 in bottoms. They are lightweight, comfy and perfect for running!

Nice, lightweight fabric, smooth waistband, and crafty little pockets. Chafe-free and pretty comfy, but the legs ride up on my strong but not super-thick thighs. Kind of annoying but overall I like them. Cute

I am thoroughly pleased with these shorts! The only reason it?s not 5 stars is because of a sizing error. The size guide told me I should get a Large, so that is what I did. They are just a bit too big so I might try getting a medium next time. I do really like that you can tighten the waist. Other than that, I love the light material and all the pockets! The phone pocket is especially helpful. These shorts are easily my favorite.

The color was too dark and the piece was oddly cut. It was very soft material.

I like this pair of shorts. Good storage options for long runs and the inner spandex layer prevents chafing, for the most part. The only reason I didn?t give it 5 stars is there are seams in the wrong places. Back of the waistband and on the in inner layer on the inside thigh. Those seams chafe during longer runs. Bodyglide doesn?t even help. If Brooks could fix those, it?d be perfect.

Best running shorts ever! I wont wear any other brand. Theyre worth the $. They do run a little large in the waist but the smaller size will be too small. Just get your usual size.

Great shorts for running. I have thick thighs (size 16) and I wish I had gone for the 7" so I don't get chub rub. These shorts run up a little bit but are not unseemly. Overall I like them enough not to return and will be happy at the gym. Size is exactly as described. I normally size up on shorts but I did not (ordered XL). They fit well and aren't too tight.

I love these shorts! The cell phone pocket in the back is perfect. The pocket is in the center of the shorts right at the top of the butt. It is centered, doesn't pull to the side, and very comfortable. I can't feel my heavy phone while I run! It's safer too because now I can bring my phone on my runs. The key pockets in the front band area work very well also. I have a pretty big car key with a battery in it. I thought putting that key in a front band pocket would press into my lower stomach area during my runs. Honestly, the key pocket is comfortable too. The only reason I gave these shorts 4 stars is that they need slimmer leg openings. They are pretty wide there and fan out to look like a skirt. (That part doesn't show on the model.) Still, pretty great, comfortable shorts for running!

Cute shorts, which indeed do fit my phone. I wish I'd sized down though from an S to an XS. I stuck with the size I've worn in past iterations but these seem bigger.

Great Running Short and the longer length is perfect! Please make these in more vibrant colors! I would give 5 stars but they are a little pricey!!!!!

I bought 2 colors of this short in S (blue and grey) and then returned for XS, even the XS is a little loose on me. I think they run large (4 stars) and thats because my other brooks shorts that I love and wanted to replace were a S. That said I usually wear XS, but even this size is tad loose on me. That?s okay with me because I prefer comfort when I run, I hate snug shorts. Also, I like the little longer length and they are well constructed with a little little pocket in the front which I put cars keys or credit card key.

Love the feel of these shorts. The shorts are very lightweight and the wideband is very comfortable. They do run a little big so you may want to consider sizing down.

I love Brooks running shoes and was so excited about these shorts! They are the perfect length for me as a 5?9? woman (which can be hard to find). They are not too short or too long. They are thin but not see through at all, very lightweight, and made of a very soft, dry fit type material which I love. Unfortunately they aren?t great for me to run in. They immediately ride up my inner thighs and are both uncomfortable and distracting in that way when running. I am sure if my thighs were a bit slimmer these would be the perfect shorts! If you do not typically have an issue with shorts riding up, you will probably love these!

I?m disappointed that these shorts were smaller than expected. I ordered the same size that I wear in the 7? shorts, but when the 5? arrived they were too small. Unfortunately, I had to return. Thankfully the return policy is good.

I was so excited to get these shorts in the summer sale, but when they arrived I found that they run really big. I'm normally a medium (5'9'' and 145 lb, and have another pair of brooks shorts in a medium that fit well) but these were huge. The waist had a gap in it and there was a ton of extra material in the crotch/front. The inseam was great though. Unfortunately, there are no smalls left so I have to return instead of exchange. Why are women's sizes so all over the place?

Fit and size were good, but the gray was lighter than I expected, and a test drop of water really showed, so I returned them - I sweat too much to have moisture show like that!

Sizing feels like it has changed. I got a medium like I usually do but it was far too big.
