Amazing footbed on this shoe, probably the best i've tried in a while in that sense. Well i came here to read the reviews since i just bought this in my 'recommenced' size, which it said is a 38, and that's because i'm usually a 7, on the small side of 7 in most shoes overall. Well these are definitely bigger than an average 7, more like 7.5. But they are only slightly too big, which is why i'm not very optimistic that the smaller size i just re-ordered them in will not be too small. Then i'll have to decide if i want to keep this slightly big one. So the people saying the shoe is too small I'm guessing didn't order their recommended size. I guess i'll find out when i get the smaller pair.

Since one review said this shoe runs small, and I almost hesitated due to that review ... I find this shoe runs perfectly true to size. I very often find shoes lately running a little large for my size 11 foot. Ecco shoes are one of the few brands that fit well. I have at least six pairs of the soft 7 sneakers and over 4 different styles of Ecco golf shoes. These loafers are awesome, comfy right out of the box. And cute!

I've worn lots of Ecco shoes. Always wear a 40. But, unfortunately, these really run small. I could tell they were too small as I took them out of the box. So bummed as they looked like they would be a good house shoe. Not sure if I will reorder in larger size as maybe they will be too big? But thank you Zappos for always making ordering from you easy!

Although each shoe was marked the correct size, the left shoe was about a size smaller than the right one. I know it wasn’t my feet being different sizes because 4 other pairs of this brand (Ecco) fit me just fine on both feet. I even tried taking out the left insole but the shoe was still too small. I was very sorry because I loved the right shoe; I would have ordered another pair to try but they were sold out by then.

Size was good. Width was good. Support was good. Materials are good. Style was good. Color is fun!

Gorgeous shoe, and fit was spot on. However I need more padding, particularly under my toes.

Liked the look, sole is comfortable but it slipped at the heel.

My usual ECCO Soft size fit well but the loafer style slipped at the heel no matter whether I added my custom orthotic or wore with sox or wore without sox.

Fit was fine but there is a gap on the side when walking.

Ordered my usual size (38) and they were too wide and the sides hit my ankles in a very uncomfortable place. When I added an extra insole my foot would just come right out when I tried to walk in them. Sad. They are pretty cute.

This is a very cute loafer, and I wear ECCO shoes almost exclusively for their comfort level. I always get size 40, but with these, my heels were slipping badly. I needed to return

I had to return these. I loved the way they look and the quality of the materials and have always had good experience with Eccos. These unfortunately were not comfortable. The toebox is not high enough, and the stitched seam pushed down and cramped my toes. The arch support was very strange, hard and not in the right place for my foot.

Super cute but they run about a 1/2 size too large. I could probably fix that with an insert but they squeak!! Step, squeak, step, squeak - would drive me crazy.

The size printed in the shoe is USA 9 to 9.5, European size 40. If you actually wear a USA 9.5, this shoe will be too small, as it's on the small side for me and I wear USA size 9. I also wear a European size 40 and this shoe seems to me to be on the small side for a 40. If I were doing it over again, I would order one whole size up as well as my regular size. I also think it's somewhat narrower than expected.

Weird fit, wider than normal at the ankle but very shallow in the toe box so that they hit the top of my big tor, returned.
