These shirts are cute and comfortable. I purchased a similar style many years ago and it's one of my faves. This is an updated version, made from a different material, and they are utter garbage. Still cute and comfortable, but wrinkles horribly after just a few minutes of wear. The wrinkles are a nightmare to get out. Washing and airdrying still led to some shrinkage and overall the shirt looks terrible. It's a bummer and absolutely insane when you consider they are $80! Typically love Madewell and purchased these on Zappos because Madewell was out of my size. This was a miss, though.

Definitely big but a nice looking shirt

The fit was huge. I usually wear a L but this is like a XL. The fabric wrinkles terribly, however, I did like the style. Wish it had cotton in it.

I love this shirt! The fabric is light and the cut is modern and hip.

Wonderful color (Sunfaded Indigo) and relaxed fit. Very comfortable. Wish it came in other colors beside black.

Comfortable, great fit, flattering

Got my normal medium and it was a tad loose, so I washed n dried it and it shrunk to the perfect size. I just have to remember not so dry it anymore or it may be toddler-sized.

This black drapey shirt is made of soft and light weight material so it is perfect for the summer heat. I like the collared look and capped short sleeves. It can be worn outside or tucked in as desired. I was looking for a basic black shirt and this fit the bill.

Overall, this is a great-looking blouse/shirt. What I liked about it was the "blouse-ness." The look is soft and feminine. I'm returning it because the sleeves are but beautiful too short for my taste. I like more upper arm coverage.

I really wanted to like this top, but it was just huge across the chest and unflattering. Fabric is a little scratchy. Have to return.

I actually returned this item for 2 reasons: It was unflatteringly large The fabric arrived very wrinkled. I intended it for a trip I’m taking and it simply wouldn’t work for that purpose.

I really wanted to like this shirt! I am tall and a medium was a nice length. However the pleats at the shoulders make the front of the shirt poof out, so it had to go back.

Looks great! Love the color. Just wish it were a little longer to tuck in more easily. Wrinkles easy, but not too bad.

Excellent fit, had to get a few of these for my all black wardrobe.

Cute, casual top

I like the material and the fit was nice. It was sized properly.

The overall fit was a bit large, I did order a size XL thinking that I would need the extra room but I think a large would have been sufficient. I do love that this shirt is versatile and comfy. Looks great with jeans and my cowboy boots, but it also goes well tucked in a pencil shirt with a sweater for work attire. I will say this, it is a bit thin so I would recommend wearing a tank. Overall I am enjoying this shirt!

This shirt is WAY too big, not true to the size chart. The feel of it is not as expected, not a comfortable fabric.
