I love these shoes they're absolutely life changing! I have Minimal Cerebral Palsy and a slight gate. These friendly shoes are so easy to put on… They come in amazing colors, the art support is excellent such an easy zipper to put your shoes on and off versus the standard laces. And it's beautiful with a lovely waffle design. These shoes are so comfortable to walk in a very stylish. Walking in the shoes was like walking on air literally! Thank you Friendly shoes and Zappos Adaptive??

I wanted to like these, but they just look too orthotic and they did not accommodate my AFO brace, as had been suggested.

I ordered these because they were recommended for someone wearing an AFO brace, which I have to wear for the next two months. They run small, but honestly, the style was so unattractive that I knew I would never wear them.

What a great design for my 87-yr. old Mom who has a hard time putting shoes on!

I felt immediately that these shoes were made with my feet in mind. I have one prosthetic leg which makes it difficult to insert that foot in most shoes. It also means my feet are not identical in shape and girth. The placement of the zipper males it possible for my prosthetic foot to easily enter the the shoe. The elastic inserts allow both shoes to fit well despite the difference in girth.

I bought these shoes at the reccomendation of a Zappos executive who works in their adaptive shoe pogram. She thought these would work for me, an above the knee amputee, and that they were developed by an occupational therapist. I bought a pair but they were too big because I bought my sneaker size, 1/2 larger than my shoe size. I wore them anyway, and liked them. I then bought a pair true to size, and they are great. I have now purchased them in all three colors. I like wearing these with nicer clothes than I want to wear sneakers with. I do wish they would make them in black.

I have worn a size 7 1/5 for years and these shoes were way too wide and way to big! they are a nice shoe and I was very disappointed that they did not fit
