Many years ago, my Mother purchased these blue sandals - one pair for her and the other for me. I loved them! Besides them being comfortable, I wore them so I could be just like Mommy. Fast forward, I saw these and got really excited, trying to recapture a piece of my childhood and connection to my Mom who is no longer with us. These are completely different than the original. The dip in the heel is different. The bump under the toes is different. Even the buckle is different. Sadly, I'm not at all happy with my purchase.

My sandals are too small and I can't exchange them for a smaller size.

You should buy these if you hate your feet. I've been walking for 43 years and yet trying to walk like these made me question my ability to fulfill this basic human function. The leather strap is too high on the foot, so it can't keep your foot in place in any meaningful way. There is no toe well, nor is there a heel well. So basically it's a flat piece of wood with an ineffective strap. I fell off them four times and suffered bruises on the balls of my feet. Ridiculous. Dr. Scholl's was very kind in offering me a return, but still, people should know these are purely decorative and not functional at all. Absolutely ridiculous.

They look nice but unfortunately the leather is too far towards the toe on the shoe. They are not in the same position as the actual original sandals from back in the day. They do not feel secure on the feet. They feel like they are going to come off. So one star because although they look nice this new position of the leather makes them unwearable and I have to return them.

Received these today and the buckle broke first time I tried to adjust. I had these years ago and loved them. Customer service was helpful and said I would receive a refund 2 - 10 days. Cannot decide if I will reorder. Very disappointed.

I had these back in the day and they were very affordable! Ridiculously over priced!!

Anyone else have this issue? The sandles are so heavy they clunk clunk clunk

Shoes previously fit my size. Too big now. Don't sell size 4-1/2".

Wanted to love but these classic shoes but they cause blisters you'll never forget. They are hard and stiff and the leather tore my feet apart. They will collect dust now in my closet. Life is too short for shoes that hurt your feet this much.

I purchased these sandals expecting them to be exactly like they original ones I purchased over 35 years ago. I was truly disappointed. The toe grip and arch support are non existent and the leather strap is thin and cheap. I still have and wear my ORIGINAL pair and the difference between the two is dramatic. I would not waste the money on these if you are truly looking for an original pair of Dr. Scholl's sandals. Quite a bit of money to pay for a sandal that feels cheap and has no foot support what so ever.

They are nothing even close to the sandals in the 80s. They are extremely heavy, not comfortable. Don't purchase them if you had a few pair of these in earlier years.

They are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. I am so disappointed. Wish I never bought them.

I bought these a year ago and couldn't walk in them so never wore them. The toe grip is gone and the wood is as smooth as marble. Today I got them out and decided I would figure them out. Alas, I still can't walk in them. It's like, comical. I just left my office to pick up a coffee and was walking at the pace of a Geisha. I was so excited to bring Dr Scholl's back into my life, but these are just so disappointing. I am leaving this review so people will know! Cute if you don't have to walk more than two steps! Otherwise, stay away!!!

Cute, but after wearing briefly just 3 times, my plater fascia became inflamed (never happened before with my hasbeens or any other wooden clog or shoe). They don't accept returns or exchanges even if slightly worn for one week. Bummer...

The shoe is low quality and has Velcro and no arch support unlike the originals.

NO toe grip whatsoever. Thin, rough leather. Ridiculous price.

The sandals are a great classic, but this is not RED. It is salmon color and a far cry from RED please change the description of your product.

Ordered red sandalsas a Christmas gift. Received a totally different volor Christmas eve . Too late to return. Very disappointed, especially given the cost.

I bought 2 adorable versions 6 months ago and they are absolutely unwearable. The wooden soles are far too heavy and the toe hold doesn't. As other reviewers have reported here, you cannot keep them on. I took them to the shoe repair shop to see if we could make the buckle tighter. Nothing's worked. KateSpadeCompany, please! Fix this design flaw!

I have two pairs of these sandals still in their boxes, now collecting dust. Was excited to relive an old favorite but found out the "new" design of the classic wooden sandal has little to no toe (hhump) support, leaving the sandals to fly off my feet when walking. They are impossible to walk in!

very disappointing , does not measure up to the original in any way, heavier, inferior toe grip, inferior clasp which no longer accommodates my Dr. Scholl decorations. will not be wearing!

They fit well enough, but the buckles pop open when walking which renders the shoes useless. Perhaps I just received a defective pair?

Terribly hard and embarrassing to keep the shoe on. The adjusting buckle does not have a setting suitable for my average foot. The last hole is too tight and the next hole makes it too wide and the shoe won't stay on. It is too great a fall and accident risk to keep such an iconic and beautiful shoe. I did buy another version of this sandal elsewhere. It fits well. I think one is just too slippery.

I bought these several months ago from DSW but did not try to wear them until July. When I tried to adjust them to the width of my foot, for the first time, the clasp broke. It's unfixable. Now I'm stuck with one working shoe and one that is unwearable - without having worn them at all and they are un-returnable because of the time lag. Really disappointed in the quality - do not recommend.

Very heavy and uncomfortable. Hard to walk in them.
