I've been wearing these sneakers for years (both colors) but it seems adidas has changed them from what was once a basketball sneaker with support to feeling like you are walking much lower to the floor. My heels have already begun hurting while wearing these in only a few weeks. I won't be buying superstars anymore.

Insufficient arch support. Felt flat. Like the style. Classic Adidas look.

I’m a 7.5 and used adidas customer support to decide to order size 6, which fit fine. This shoe is wide so it’s good for wide feet. If you have narrow feet it’s probably not for you. I really wanted to like this shoe because I’m looking for a sneaker that has a black sole. But I’m returning it because of quality issues. You can see the glue all around the sole of this shoe. It’s very disappointing. I think there is a quality assurance issue. It looks cheaply made.

Very attractive shoes but very tight fit compared to all the other 12D athletic and other shoes I own. Uncomfortable to boot. I returned them.

Too clunky on my size 9 feet. They were heavier than I want in a sneaker.

I have these in white and white with blue stripes and love them for all day on my feet comfort and style. Lots of room in the toe-box! But the women’s 8.5 in Black seems to have a different fit. It’s stiffer and doesn’t hug my heel the way my previous pairs did. So weird but they’re going back.

If you’re a man, order one full size larger than you normally would.

This was one of my favorite shoes. I used to keep a couple of pairs on the side because I loved them so much, but that was until the glue from the shell top at the toe section of the shoe came apart after wearing them two times. The quality of the Adidas Superstar has changed. They seem like they are made quite cheaply now. Unfortunately, Adidas lost me permanently. I would NOT recommend.

Love the shoe style and I've owned superstars before. Had to return this pair because they were simply too narrow to fit. Compared them to my old superstars and there was a huge visible difference.

Loved the fit and look, but the shoes didn't hold up. The leather split from the toe area where it met the side of shoes. Quality isn't there.

This shoe looks great out of the box. However, the shoe is very narrow and runs an entire size small. There is no arch support and it feels like my heel goes through the sole with jarring impact. Also the rubber front turned yellow for some reason after light use. The sides creased and eventually cracked. Not a great shoe for the price, stay away if you are a larger person. 6' 5", 300 LB powerlifter.

There aren't many purple shoe options for men and these look great, but what looks great does not wear well. The stiffness of the sole on this shoe causes arch pain if I wear these more than two days in a row. The high back of the shoe caused a blister on both feet when I wore low-ankle socks, so be sure to wear socks that extend passed your ankle. I would not purchase these shoes again.

Adidas took a great shoe (the Originals Superstar) and did a great job of messing with a good thing. To start, the shoe is way, way bigger than its predecessor - which means it is heavier and clunkier. The fit itself was just uncomfortable from the get-go, and I decided to try and break them in to see if it improved, and it didn't. The arch support is terrible! I'm not saying there wasn't arch support; instead, I'm saying there was way too much arch support. I found these shoes highly uncomfortable. I wish Adidas would bring back the Originals Superstar.

These shoes were extremely narrow compared to another pair of Adidas I have same of the same size and width. I wish they fit because I really like the style but they have to go back.
