After three wearings the ankle discomfort is gone. On the second wearing I noticed the hard heel cup hurt more than the zipper area. The next wearing with thicker higher socks did the trick. I still wish they covered the ankle bones a little more but I love them!

I loved the look of the boot and the height on-line. The sale price was great too! However the zipper area rubs the outside ankle. The top edge of the boot in the ankle area is lower and rubs and does not cover the entire ankle. I would have preferred 1-2 inches higher to cover and not rub the ankles. The look of the outside zipper is fun but an inside zip might prevent zipper rubbing. I wish I could have ordered 1/2 size larger and wide width to wear thick socks. I am going to try knee socks to see if it protects the ankles from rubbing. They are no longer available except in one size so I won't exchange. They seem well insulated and footbed is comfortable. The upper might become more comfortable with wear. I want to love them! They are Skechers! They are perfect for a dusting to 4 inches of snow. I hope they are perfect for you!

So very comfortable! This pattern was a good price but wish I could get a dark solid for same sale price!

This is an attractive looking boot with a good durable sole that looks like it would give you good traction in snowy weather. However, the front of the boot where it comes up on the front of your leg, is very stiff and digs in when walking. I'm hoping this will break in some with wear.

They are nice. Most shoes seem of poorer quality anymore.

Love this boot!

Great for fall to winter transition. Wouldn't hold up in the really cold winters of Canada but an excellent 'wear to work' warm boot.

A little too warm but I still like them.

I love that the toe box is roomy enough for my arthritic feet. However the ankle part is way too stiff. It hurt my ankle from the first wearing. It may soften after more wearing. I love the wide because it gives me room for my inserts that allow me to walk longer. I will have to wear more to see if they loosen up to where I can zip all the wY. They are so cute even for a 75 year old!

The only two things that keep these from being 100% perfect is that zipper rubs on my ankle a little bit and at first is uncomfy, but not noticeable after a while., and I wish they had a slightly better arch support.

Boots are great with everything you wear!!

I wear the shoes to church.

While this was an extremely comfortable shoe, it binded me around the ankle and that made it uncomfortable. I am giving it to my granddaughter for a holiday gift.

Zipper was a little stiff.

The boots are cute, comfortable, and warm. The issue I have with them, is the zipper is facing the outside of my body instead of the inside so you can't cross your leg and zip them up. I am able to just slip them on zipped up if I don't wear thick socks or my husband has to zip them up for me.

I purchased these on sale. I usually wear a medium width, depending on the shoe. The 9 M was uncomfortable enough, I wanted to try the 9 Wide. By the time I tried to reorder, 9W was no longer available. When it came back in stock, it was at full price ($30 higher). I'm not feeling the love of being a Skechers Plus member! I don't love the boots THAT much to pay full price for them.

Cute boots but very stiff- rubbed against my ankles & hurt even with socks & only a short time wearing. Didn't seem too comfortable or warm overall - sadly had to return them which was very easy at store. Delivery was fast as well!
