I have quite a few pairs of this style New Balance 327's. They have always been great and I always got compliments when I wore them. The last two pairs I have ordered are somehow defective. They fit perfectly, however, when you walk in them they make a very loud creaking sound. Totally unacceptable. Unfortunately, had to return.

There is some sort of white residue on them that sticks to your fingers. Weird.

I LOVE this style but after a week the shoes stretched so much that the shoes literally came off when I walked. SO disappointed! But the Zappos rep fully understood and let me return them. I ordered a size smaller than the original shoes I ordered- but I can't even get them on - way too small..... love the look but just don't fit me right..I am usually a 9.5 womens.

Very awkward design, the shape is just odd looking to me. I see them on other people and they look cute, but for me it was a no.

Super bummed that these didn't work. They're super cute, but run short and wide. I ordered the 9 and 9.5 - The 9 was too short in the toe, but the 9.5 was way too wide. I'm usually between an 8.5-9 in a sneaker.

Wicked tight around bridge of foot. Maybe these work for people with super narrow feet from heel to but for my average foot-shaped feet these were so painfully tight. Really disappointed because they are cute.

The fit was okay, the worst problem was the stark white laces and trim with the cream colored "N" and sole. Looks terrible.

I wear a 9 and ordered a 9. These are two shirt and narrow at the toes. I need a 9.5

They arrived already warn and distressed. Ended up returning because these were not new.

Material felt stiff and cheap.

Ordered my usual size and these shoes are so big. My feet slide forward. One shoe also makes a sound with every step. Wanted to like as they seem comfortable, but too big and noisy.

These are incredibly cheap looking shoes - the "suede" was frayed and falling off before even taking them out of the box.

These shoes were extremely lacking quality. The materials feel cheap and after just trying them on, the sole had collapsed with wrinkles.

The way the sole is cut, there is absolutely no arch support. Felt like my foot was falling off the inside of the shoe with every step. Returning.

There has to be a defect. The material on the sides of the shoes has become wrinkly/crinkly and makes very loud noises with each step. Def do not buy unless its a leather on the sides (dont get the ones I did)

This material is very stiff and so uncomfortable. I could not wear more than a day and so disappointed because I love the look. It dug into my ankle bone and formed a huge blister. I’ve had 4 pair of this style but none have been leather. I think it’s just too stiff!

Didnt realize it was a mesh material on the sides instead of leather, its on the thinner side and is wrinkled.

I have ordered multiple pairs of the 327 in different color/fabric combinations. This pair is by far the worst. The body of the shoe is made of some sort of plastic feeling material. Why?? These are very stiff and look extra wide at the top of the foot but seemingly are tighter in the shoe at the front. My favorite has been the Sea Salt/Hay combination, which are now sold out. Please, New Balance, stick to actual fabrics or leather and suede, no more plastic like shoes. This color combination is called Sea Salt/Linen. It would be helpful if the actual material choices were labeled by Zappos as well for each color combination.

It’s looks ugly

The style is great, the description of the shoe listed is not what we received. The shoe itself is suede and leather, not mesh as described. Buyer beware, if you’re hoping for a mesh shoe, these are not at all mesh! They’re stiff and hot compared to the mesh NB in the same style.
