I absolutely love these boots! They are much lighter than Doc Martens or other similar boots that I've tried, but have the same look without being too bulky. They are super comfortable, I wore them the first 4 days in a row, and no problems. I'm usually between a 7 and 7.5, I got these in the 7 and the fit is perfect. I've worn them with both thin socks and warmer thicker socks. These are pricy, yes - but for me they were worth the price! The side zipper is nice for easier on and off. They look great with both jeans and skirts.

These were less than half a size more roomy but I will wear socks with them so that is perfect. I really love the fit, style, and quality.

Love the boots! I'm always a true 6 but after reading the reviews and seeing some people needed to size down, I went with the 5.5 and they're perfect!

I wanted to love these as they have so many features I was looking for: chunky lug sole, light weight, leather lined, lace up yet with zipper on the side for easy on and off. Yet I still found them hard to get on and off, and once on felt they looked a bit dowdy. So I returned them. I do have an unusually narrow/shallow foot and narrow ankles, so my experience may not be yours if you have more average foot and ankle size.

I love these boots, I really do. However I had to remove a few overall stars because of the box they arrived in. Warning, First World Problem Ahead: One of the best things about a pair of Vince shoes is the box, and my boots arrived in a plain brown box with a stamp saying the OG box has been damaged. The boots were packed with very little tissue, allowing them to rub against each other, and no stuffing inside the boots. I was incredibly disappointed! All that being said, the boots are amazing. Im usually an 8, I ordered a 7.5. They were a bit snug at first, but after a wearing for a few hours, they stretched to fit perfectly. I love them. If you’re on the fence, pull out your credit card now and order…I just hope you get an actual Vince box…because they are way cooler than the plain brown box I got.

These are great quality and I love the look. I’ve gotten several compliments. They’re extremely comfortable with no break in necessary.

I am a size 40, usually a 9 1/2 or 10. I ordered both and they were about a half size too large. Order a size down.

I bought a few pairs of boots, a few quite pricey. I never purchased anything from Johnston and Murphy before so I didn't expect much. These boots are gorgeous. The grey suede is so soft and feels luxurious. And the fit and feel of the booties are great. Perfect for my 7 1/2 foot. I would not size down. Not clunky at all. They don't make your feet look huge, they don't slip off your heel. Comfort level is great. Side zip a must. I didn't want to take them off but I am still waiting for another pricier pair to come before my final choice. But for the price point, they are every bit as nice as a few others that cost double. If I keep, I will definitely protect the suede.

As noted in other reviews, the boots run large. I ordered both 9 and 9.5 and the 9 is still a little big. I kept them bc I can wear thicker socks and the 8.5 would probably have ended up being too small. I wear 9 in sandals, but exercise shoes are always a 9.5 or even 10

The boot was very pretty. Very hard bottom with no support and tight around the ankle.

I have this boot in all the colors but this version is so stiff I have a hard time wearing them. I wore the regular black leather the first day for over 10,000 steps but this shiny leather version hurt my ankles. Hoping they eventually soften.

The boots look nice but they are big. I ordered my size 6.5 and had to return and reorder for size 6. It still was big on my feet! The boots also feel stiff and worry that they could hurt if I use them for walking.

Ordered on the 13th and I still haven’t received them - it’s the 19th. I was under the impression I’d have them in two days but got no update to let me know otherwise.
