The fit was basically true to size (however appeared somewhat narrow in toe box). The design of the boot looked much better in the picture. However, in person it did appear too chunky and less appealing on my feet. Also, the leather didn’t seem quite right -almost cheap looking for the price. I think I was looking for a more feminine yet combat look to this bootie. Overall didn’t love, so unfortunately had to send back.

Beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for. I feel they run big. I wear a size 7 in every shoe but the size 6 fit me perfectly. I can’t believe the steal of a price I got these for. Nordstrom is selling them at full prize while Zappos is selling them for 40% off. Returned my pair from Nord and repurchased at Zappos for almost a $200 savings! Zappos for the win!

I love these Ash Lewis Studs! I have been looking for combat boots for a long time and these are perfect. They are made of beautiful substantial but soft leather. I was concerned the studs would make them too blingy but, they add just the right touch. Because they are black they add a cool dimensional look without being to over the top. The lug soles don't make these boots as heavy as other brands I have tried on. The only concern I have is the zipper is in the back of the boot, I have never had boots designed this way before so this is a new experience. The zipper is SLIGHTLY hard to zip up, I think they will get easier with wear. I am normally a 8.5 in shoes and 8.5 or 9 in boots. I ordered a 39 and 40. I am keeping the 40. They have a cushioned insole which adds to the comfort. They are gorgeous boots! Very happy I bought them. Thanks Zappos!

These boots are sooo awesome. Yes, they are as cute in person, actually better! Cushiony sole, definitely add some height to this short person! If you are thinking about these, get them before they go. I love Zappos, such excellent customer service, and quality stuff we all love.

As much as I LOVED these boots, I was unable to zipper it from the back. Make sure to check the shaft size and measure before purchasing, but overall these boots are comfy, made well and look amazing.

Love the style of these!!! I was searching all over for a unique edgy combat boot and these I fell in love with! They definitely run large I’m usually a size 7 sometimes 7.5 and I had to order a size 6! Keep that in mind when ordering but the quality and design are amazing you won’t be disappointed

The boots are beautiful. I've always loved Ash designs. I am usually a 38 but had to exchange them for a 37 so you may want to order a size down.
