SHOCKED! I opened the box and...after trying to understand what I was looking at...yup, they sent me someone else's USED, WORN OUT shoes!!! Really hoping this falls under the "everybody makes mistakes sometimes" category...

I purchased these to replace the Birkenstock Amsterdam slippers that I can no longer wear due to an issue with the toe bars. I found these to be comfortable, wide enough for my wide feet, and I liked that I can adjust the fit with the buckle. They are not too high of a heel, so I feel very stable walking around on them on carpet in the house. The arch support is similar to a Birkenstock. I wear a 38 in Birkenstock, but needed a 39 in these. I was a little surprised by the placement of the sewn-on label at the heel. I can feel it through my socks, so I may remove it with a seam ripper. Overall, I really like these as slippers for the house.

These were recommended to me by a friend because I was developing plantar fasciitis. Working from home and wearing flip flops was not enough arch support! These have nice arch support and solid cork soles so they definitely give better support. She also recommended the style with the buckle so you can make them tighter across the top of the foot. I tried on another style without the strap and they were a little loose. The strap and buckle helps keep the slipper on your foot better. I wear an 8.5; I tried the 8 and the 9 and decided to go with the 9 as they are roomier for thick socks. The 8s rubbed my heel a bit. So far they are great!

I'm a 7.5 and bought an 8 but it was huge. Returned it for a 7 and even that was very roomy, but the ability to tighten the strap helped a lot. I wear them with socks around the house. If not wearing socks, I'd get a whole size smaller.

I'm still debating returning these... I loved my old Haflingers that were so similar with the adjustable strap. I wore them for almost 10 years, wore them to death. A few issues are bugging me about these, as I try them on for the 30th time. They feel big -- there's just a lot of real estate here. Not so much wide as just... tall? I tightened the strap up, and it helped a little, but I still feel a little unstable because of the looseness. Issue No. 2 is the sole; it's different than the old shoes. It's just a gummy rubber business and I'm a little concerned it might not hold up (or hold ME up) like the previous version (more of a tread). And finally, it may just be that my needs have changed, but these really don't feel like they have much in the way of arch support; the previous version was almost uncomfortable the first few weeks until I got them broken in, whilst these feel... flatter. The wool is still beautiful, the style adorable, and the quality as wonderful as expected. I still recommend Haflinger, but unless I embrace super thick socks, I'm thinking I may need another option for myself. Sadly.

These feel so great, I wear them everyday in the house. I have arthritis, a super high arch and instep and bought these because I broke my foot and it swells across the top. These really help to the point that if I don't wear them for a bit, my foot, back, and hips really start to ache. I wish I could wear these for my job but they are too casual.

Bought these for my husband and he loved them! Said they are the most comfortable Haflinger clogs he’s ever had. And he’s had many pairs.

Love these! With the leather strap and buckle I could tighten them to fit my narrow feet.

I have purchased several Haflinger slippers (Haflinger AT Slipper) over the past 15 years, but not the GZB style. I was interested in the buckle function to help keep the slipper stay more secure on my foot, as I have a narrow to medium width foot. Haflinger slippers usually stretch out quite a bit. I wear a size 8 or 8.5/39 shoe, and purchased the GZB in a size 8. The slipper fit fine length-wise. I tightened the buckle to the last notch, and the slipper fit my foot okay. I wear slippers most of the day at home (without socks) and after a week, the slipper stretched out and became loose on my foot. I added an insole on top of the one that comes with the GZB and that help tighten the fit. Overall, the slipper is comfortable. Arch support is adequate. The cork bottom is a bit more rigid than the AT, but that difference has not been an issue for me so far. I would purchase Haflinger slippers in the future, and possibly the GZB style.

Tried to not rate with stars until we have the right product. I am returning these shoes as they are too small. Seemed odd as the size 13 felt as small as the size 12 I'd just returned. At first I could not find the size.I now see that there is a small “44" on the Haflinger label. That means that we were sent the wrong size, because the size 13 that I ordered would be a European 46. Fingers crossed that the third pair I ordered will fit him!
