I love how big the bottle is so it lasts all day without having to refill it. I like how comfortable it is to carry around with the handle on the lid. It is easy to clean and wipe off. The paint has not chipped after multiple washes. It does not keep the liquid cold as long as I would like but it does last for a couple of hours.

When i got this i wasn't expecting it to be so big at all .That is not a bad thing to me .My hubby works long hours daily out in the sun and staying hydrated is a must for him .I like that this bottle is double insulated which keeps my drinks colder /hotter for around 24 hours .I tested this by putting some hot coffee into the flask and leaving it out on my kitchen counter until the next morning .The coffee wasn't boiling hot anymore but however i still was hot enough that i burnt the tip of my tongue .I also used it with cold ice water .I set the flask in my car .. I live in Florida so it gets pretty hot out .I checked the cup the following morning and the water was still cold and i also still had some ice cubes that had not melted yet inside the flask . I love the color and the overall design .I like the fact that the lid also doubles as a handle to carry it with

I love the Hydro Flask! I have the 40 oz flask and it's fabtastic!!! I filled it with ice water at 8 am and by 5 after sitting in a locker all day, it was still cold and had ice left! It's great for any type of beverages, I used for ice tea and it was cold and fresh all day! I've also tried coffee in it, and it stayed hot all day and fresh! I've dropped it a few times because I'm a bit clumsy lol but all I've wound up with were little scratches! The only con with this, is it's a bit heavy but no other complaints!

I was sent this water container for an honest review. I have only tried it for cold not hot, but it definitely keeps things cold in this Florida sun that is hard to do! Can't wait to try for hot coffee, when it cools down some here to enjoy hot drinks.

The Hydro Flask 40 oz Wide Mouth is an awesome Flask. It keeps cold drinks cold for quite a while. I had ice water that still had cubes after eight hours and I had coffee stay hot from the morning until I finished it around lunch time. The Flask is well made and looks nice.

I bought mine before the summer and I was in love when I first saw it! I work at a summer camp and mostly in the hot kitchen that has no AC, or much time for bathroom breaks/water refills, so I needed a huge bottle that was tough and durable and would stay cold all day, and it works! I'm notorious for leaving my water bottles around everywhere and my hydroflask is no exception. One day I left it in 100 degree temperatures at the beach ALL DAY. I tripped over it in the sand the next day, half full, baked in the sun and sand, and yet the water in it was still cold! Now my only complaint may be invalid due to swinging it along side me in the woods all the time, subjected to falling and rolling down rocky mountain sides weekly, if not daily, but I was disappointed to see a huge dent and a few scratches show up after only 2 months. But then again I put my water bottles up to pretty rough treatment, so it might be the wilderness of the forest, or it might be faulty waterbottle makers, it could honestly be either. But either way I LOVE my hydroflask and plan on buying more (see if this one survives mundane city life) and I also really like how bright the colors are and how easy it is to spot if ever lost, so long story short don't ever just chuck it into a forest with bears but 9 out of 10 times it'll be fine. (Side note: slam it on concrete flooring next time someone has the hiccups. I guarantee they'll stop afterwards)

Review: I bought this about a month ago, I think. (Back when the PNW limited editions were still in stock.) I was one of those people who really wanted the PNW collection, but didn't have a chance when they were first launched. Honestly it's a really cute water bottle. (Is it worth the hype, I'm not really sure, but it's still really cute!) One complaint I have is, the top part of my hydroflask is scratched (the metal part, where you screw the lip on ; the metal finishing was scratched and you could see the powder paint coat underneath). It was like that when it arrived, and for the first two weeks the metal part of the bottle low-key smelled like rust, but now it doesn't really anymore.
Pros:
- Really cute
- Holds a lot of water (got to stay hydrated)
- Hydroflasks are really popular right now
- I drink a lot more water now :)
- I honestly can not wait to get some stickers to decorate my hydroflask. (This is also a very good way to cover up scratches.)
Cons:
- Dents/scratches really easily (each time someone knocks it over my heart breaks some more.) [this is why I bought a boot]
- Rather pricey
- The top of my hydroflask, the metal part where you screw the cap on. The metal was sort of flaking off. (I have never seen this in other hydroflasks.)

I've had my white HF for four years now. It was so nice and pristine when I purchased it, but I knew that in time it would probably scratch and chip. Sure enough, I dropped it plenty of time that it's dented and chipped. No matter, it still keeps my ice water nice and cold. One constant problem has been keeping the thread and gasket of the lid clean and sanitary. Look close at your bottle and maybe you, too, will see a .black growth, maybe mold. I did not discover it but maybe year into owning the bottle. It does affect the taste of my water. I shove paper towels into the lid, packing it very tight, then push it along the thread of the lid, and gross looking stuff comes out, BUT IT IS NEVER COMPLETELY CLEAN, even when I repeat the paper towel routine several times. I've used cotton swabs, vinegar/baking soda, even bathroom cleaner (left a bad taste for a few days) but still I can see stuck on bits of that black growth. What's the solution to this, HydroFlask? There has to be a better way to get the lid completely clean and sanitary. Please help!

I was SO excited about the ombre colors that I sent a friend in Hawaii searching for them with no avail and then they showed up in Colorado. I bought the Sunset bottle. I'm disappointed in the scratches that have already appeared and my product has a discoloration spot right under the logo. I've only used it while at work. As far as keeping water cold, it does a great job!

It can keep my ice, icee for up to 3 days but it does seem to hold in flavor so I do not recommend putting hot flavored drinks in it or it will taste like tea for the rest of your days. It is also difficult to clean if you don't have a scrubby brush with a handle or super human small hands, my hands are tiny and cannot fit into the wide mouth. Recently my insulation hasn't been working, my bottle will start to sweat/get cold or warm according to the temperature of my drink which is very dissapointing and I need to call hydro to see what they can do for me overall great but be careful.

I love this product! Keeps my drink cold for over 24hrs when there's ice in it, and right above room temp after a day. This is my favorite size by far because I only have to fill up the bottle once a day to get my daily intake! I love taking this bottle with me to the beach or to work because it's a personal size and if I felt like it, I could totally share. My only problem with it is how DIFFICULT it is to remove odors!! I packed it with beer one day and I couldn't remove the smell of metallic alcohol. The following day, I rinsed it with soapy water and the entire bottle (cap included) and it now smells like soap chemicals. I rinsed it with vinegar, and now it smells like soap AND vinegar. The cap, especially. I also found that there was dirt in this rubbery part surrounding the cap and I cant seem to remove it. I think it would be a great idea if you guys were to upload a detailed, informative, and specific video on how to clean all these products. The lingering smells are a definite deal-breaker and ruin the drinking experience. P.S. yes I have used the bottle brush, baking soda, soapy water, and vinegar. HELP.

I just received my flask in the mail. I absolutely love it. I bought it in the color sage. It's gorgeous. I love that I can have my favorite color with me. It has a small dent at the bottom but I'm sure it will be fine.

I really like this water bottle, and the finish on the outside is really cool. Although it won't keep ice from melting, it does hold the temperature, hot or cold, pretty well. However, don't drop it even 2 feet off of the ground. It will dent.

I was so excited to buy a hydroflask. I got one for my husband and I because I heard such amazing things about it! I went everywhere with it! I cleaned it all the time with soap, water and a brush. and within TWO WEEKS it rusted!!! I'm so sad about this happening! for how expensive it was I was 100% convinced that this would last longer. I would deffidently give this a 5 star or more if I could but because it didn't last me that long......

I just received this bottle for Christmas and it is already full of dents and scratches. I have dropped it from just 5 inches off the ground twice and it has dented it twice! It works well for keeping your water cold for long periods of time, but if you even so as knock it over, it will scratch.

I bought a 24 oz standard mouth but can't find a flip lid for it. Did get the sport cap but would like to have a flip cap.

These have been the best bottles my wife and I have used. But with the extended pack-ins while hiking and camping we have a shortfall with water. A question can we adapt the LifeStraw GO cap and filter for constant clean water. Is your R&D working on anything like this as an enhancement?

I just recently bought my first hydroflask and this was one of the best decisions I've made after wasting money on other water bottles! I put some ice cubes in the bottle when I first woke up and 17 hrs later they were still in there and although I filled the bottle up several times with room temperature water the water was always cold! Will not disappoint! The only problem I've had so far is I knocked my flask pretty hard against a door and it left a small dent, other than that, this is the best water bottle ever and well worth the money!

I love my hydro flask it keeps my water cold for several hours even after being left in the car for hours in the hot Texas sun/heat. I am absolutely in love with mine. The only issue I have with it is that after less than a month with my hydro flask I noticed 2 rust spots inside my flask, it also seems to have developed a rust smell. I plan to return it and get another one, I truly believe it was a fluke. This is the first hydro flask I have ever owned, but I do see myself being a customer for life. I have been looking for a larger water bottle that keeps my water cold for longer periods of time especially on road trips. The bottle is wider so it doesn't fit in a standard cup holder in car or in a backpack. I love the lid and the handle it comes with, makes it easy to carry around in your hand.

I've had my 40 oz flask for over a year and it's the best "water bottle" I've ever had. It keeps my water cold for hours even when left in the car on a hot Florida summer day. Don't want to carry it with you? No problem. I left it on the car all afternoon and my water was still cold. I've also dropped it several times because it is so wide it's hard to fit in the bottle compartments of backpacks. That's is only downfall for me! The straw lid also leaks if left on its side too long. My backpack got soaked while on a plane. Should have saved the original lid.

Love everything about this except for its weight. It is a bit heavy. I would rather trade a little less insulation for a lighter weight bottle.

I'm not a beer drinker (it hurts my stomach) but I think friends would really enjoy it, especially craft beer drinkers.
