got one of the first ones and love it. Got the basic black body and so far only one brewery has given me guff about getting a fill because "it wasnt their growler" whatever. keeps beer really cold perfect for a quick fill up and drive to the beach for the day.

This product keeps my beer ice cold and fully carbonated. I've filled my growler and have left it in my car while I ran other errands in the hot, oppressive Philly August sun, and have enjoyed a much needed ice cold pint on the beach after an hour drive to the shore. Great Product. A word to the wise: if you plan on using it for both beer and water, the cap retains some of the hoppiness of the beer after use. Soak it in soapy hot water for a few hours and your water will not taste like liquid gold.

I received a Hydro Flask 18 oz. bottle as a gift about a year ago and LOVE it! I recommend it to everyone who will listen and bought one for each of my 5 kids! The ONLY problem....I drink a lot of water every day and was tired of carrying water to fill my 18 oz. bottle at work, so I bought the 64 oz. and a straw top for it, only to find out the top doesn't fit...and no straw top is made for it. I am heartbroken.... I still LOVE my 64 oz. bottle, but I would be over the moon if you would make a straw top for it. Please?

I bought this 64 oz growler and have fallen in love. Others make fun of the size but at the end of the day they want my ice cold water!

I use it for tennis. It keeps my drink cold the entire match in Texas heat. It doesn't spill. I like the new handle loop too, it is easy to carry. While not cheap it is excellent. I do wish they offered a protective cap to put on the bottom as I am afraid it will be nicked a lot in a short while.

On vacation in Hawaii I picked up the 64 oz hydro flask, filled it with ice water and let it sit in my dark green backpack in the sun. The average temp was upper 80's to low 90's. It was 30 hours later when we checked the hydro and to our amazement there was ice remaining. You have out done every water bottle I have ever tried you have a follower for life, the growler was worth every dollar.

I've had a few hydro flasks. I currently have a 64 Oz growler and a true pint. I don't think I could ever buy a different beverage storing device.

I brought a 64 oz. wide mouth flask and it is THE BEST flask I have ever purchased. I liked it so much I purchased a 32 oz. for my wife and one for myself, great product.

Already have a year with it, bought it November 2021 and it was everything I was looking for (thought I've only used it for cold icewater in the hot summers and the insulation is amazing with no doubt)... but a couple of months after it started leaking badly, whenever I have it with me in the car I'm always worry if it is in a vertical position - if not there'll be a mess in minutes... just found out about the the warranty looking for a lid replacement - so let's see...

As part of my job, I attend trade shows that require me to be at a booth for several hours. I have had smaller water bottles that got the job done but with the rate I drink water when talking to people, I would need to fill it up a few times. While I haven't attended anything recently, this has been a great addition to quarantine life and I can't wait to see how it improves the work situation.

I love this growler, only problem is it scratches very easily but other than that I love it!!

I bought a 40oz Wide Mouth bottle with straw cap and have been using it for the past 2 years now and never will I ever be using anything else. I use it for cool to iced water daily but love that if I mix in some fruit or any type of flavor into it, the taste does not linger. Now this is only on occasions where either I want to have fancy water, or let's face it, when I'm not being lazy and actually cut up fruit. I use it everyday at work (and now the "new" office aka Stay at Home/Work Safe orders aka "At home now ever since...'It' happened") and even though I loved getting up 28 times during the morning to go fill it up and then another 92 in the afternoon, it was time to upgrade and get a bigger size. Lo and behold the behemoth. Big Bertha. The Mother Ship. The 64oz. bottle. As eager as I was to order, something else caught my eye and now lo-lo and behold-hold (x2) the Growler. What really caught my eye was the handle. More volume, more weight. I just personally liked the idea better of having a sturdy handle rather than the normal wide-mouth lid with the strap. At the time, I didn't order another straw lid because I would just use the ones I currently have (2 wide-mouth straw lids) and honestly didn't think anything of it since they're almost all compatible within the same line and the 64oz. behemoth still uses the same lid. Upon receiving Big Bertha and eagerly washing it up to put it to use immediately, I was saddened :-( to find out that since the threads go inside the bottle. I still love the bottle but dread the time(s) during the day when I pick the thing up a little too thirsty, forget about the laws of physics and take too fast of a swig and then have a sudden tsunami drown my face. Now that's an exaggeration but you get the idea. Like I said I still love the Growler, but what would make me Love or LOVE the Growler, is if y'all could drill an opening, and add a straw for this one too pretty pretty please. The 64oz Bottle and the Growler are basically sisters so why not give the Growler the same accessories, but just configured for her. I know that the Growler is targeted for beer enthusiasts with the sealed carbonation technology and having adult fun juice easily accessible by a straw isn't maybe the best, but this one is almost perfect for us who were annoyed at the number of times we would get up to refill and love the sturdy handle. Now this costs a pretty penny so buying another one isn't the best option right now and also exchanging it went out the window because I thought I could just get used to it and move on and the return/exchange window flew on by. I am used to it and yes I am 100% capable of drinking water from a jug like any other human, but for the times where you just forget how to life and splash yourself and get some on your shirt, how I wish this lid existed and which is why I've been able to adjust but just can't move on. Like I said, amazing product, does what I need it to do and then some, but what would make it perfect and a five star rating from me would be a straw lid for the Growler. I'm writing this to hopefully get some attention again on this as I was going through and looks like this has been something that others have been hoping for since 4 years ago. Still loving both bottles, never switching to anything else in this lifetime or the next couple of lifetimes, but if you could just add that cherry to the top of the delicious cake and include a straw lid for Growlers to your lineup, that could possibly cure my quarantine blues :-) Stay safe, wash your hands, and please WEAR a mask or a face cover for my friends and family who have a compromised immune system.

I bought mine about a month ago and love everything about it, EXCEPT, it needs a straw top! It is way too hard to lift up every time I need a little sip!! I use it for water only. I have the 40 oz one too (that was too small), and I love the straw top so much, that I got used to using it. Please make one soon!!!!

I bought this for my boyfriend, he absolutely loves it! Haven't gotten it filled with beer yet but he does drink water out of it in the meantime. Only reason I am giving it a 4 is because it was delivered dented.

Fantastic product. Operates as advertised and works well. I have two complaints that center on the lid. First is that the lid's seal isn't effective until fully tightened down. With the amount of travel on the lid it surprising how much leakage there is if not COMPLETELY seated. Secondly a straw lid would truly make this product just about perfect.

Hydro Flask remains my favorite brand of insulated stainless steel products, because both the aesthetic and the functionality of their products is exceptional. I love the look and the ever-changing color options of their products. The insulated caps give HF an edge over most competitors too. Only drawback for me is that the bottles are not difficult to dent should you drop one just right. Once dented, my understanding is that the bottle is no longer effective.

I purchased a 1.9 litre bottle for pinecone picking in northern Canada. Kept water as a liquid in -30 centigrade! Keeps beer fizzy too. Shablammo!

This is by far the best investment I have made. The only draw back is how tight the cap gets. I spend 45 minutes trying to open it. After a blister and a bruse On my hand I finally got it open. It was still super cold and fresh.

This growler works well and is a great investment compared to any glass growler you could get at a brewery. I think this is work just buying once and keeping. It holds carbonation and temp very well. I am disappointed with the lid of the old product however. I have I guess the older style where the cap has a ribbon of plastic that attaches to the growler to not lose the cap. This broke/ snapped right be where the ribbon meets the growler. This is not from excessive use as I have only filled this growler 4-5 times in two years (not for dislike of the product but rather for lack of good breweries in ND). It is also not from flexing the plastic too much on the wrong direction or whatever. So I guess I understand now why they changed the lid design because the old one now seems poor to me.

Please this would also be a good bottle for other refreshments. I wish you could possibly make a drinking lid with built in straw or if you can suggest any other products that can be a good drinking lid of the this beer growler.

I use this for beer. Let me start by saying that the insulation and preservation capabilities of this things are comparable to none. That being said, I have an incredible difficult time using the threaded cap. Bartenders can't get it tight enough to stop it from leaking, I usually have to really, seriously, crank the thing on to prevent leaks. Then when I get home, obviously it's on tight, but the carbonation adds to it and makes it very hard to remove. I've had to use a pipe wrench to get the thing off. I hope that Hydroflask sees this and is willing to help me out because it doesn't seem like others have this problem.

The flask is difficult to screw on and the ring around it is pretty useless, would rather have a handle. My water doesn't stay cold

So I picked up this 64oz Growler Flask needing something to hold a larger amount of liquid for trips and such. When I got it the look and feel of this is awesome, so I thought let's try it. Looks good yes, but doesn't hold ice very well. I filled it up after cleaning it out, pre chilled it with cold water and then filled it up with ice. I put the lid on and set it on my counter overnight. The kitchen was only 68 degrees so that should not have affected it. When I got up 7 hours later not only was the ice gone, but the water was room temperature. Tried it again and had the same results. Looks good and is functional as a liquid holder, but don't expect it to perform as some of the other brands! Disappointed for sure!!
