At first I thought these shoes were a bit to tight, but the next size up would have been to large. After a few wears they stretched to become quite comfortable. I feel that they are stylish enough to wear daily

I heard good things about these shoes and they look super cute so I wanted to try them. I found them very narrow and uncomfortable (no real cushion) I returned them and opted for the Dr scholls which were way comfortable and 1/3 the price.

Love them! Reminds me of my leather Nikes in retro 1980s - they lasted for more than 10 years! I regret not ordering a second pair. It looks like VEJA Esplar Logo no longer is in production.

They are so stiff they feel like cheap hobo brand shoes

The fit and size was more true than a half of size difference. Felt good on my feet, I was just not a fan of the colors sort of a deep eggshell no near as white as the shoelaces.

I have a pretty wide foot and I found these to fit VERY comfortably. I'm a true 7.5 but the 7 worked great for me. I walked the mall and some other shopping in them with a thin bootie sock, and had no issues at all. Very comfortable, with no rubbing or toe squeezing like most shoes give me. But a friend the same size tried them and didn't like how wide they were. I LOVE them.

I am a size 9 US / 40 Euro, but following the advice of reviewers I ordered a size down. Mistake. They were too short. If you’re a 9, order your usual in this particular Veja style (Esplar). They’re super cute. They’re pretty comfortable too, similar to Superga.

One of these most uncomfortable pair of (fashionable) sneakers I’ve ordered ! Super stiff leather which had no give when walking and the sole is also like a slab with no bend. Returned !

These are cute but they aren't that comfortable. I purchased in my regular size 7 and probably should have gone down to 6.5. The tongue on my right shoe scrapes my foot but I guess I can wear higher socks.

Very comfy and they go with everything.

First time buying this brand, fits true to size and pretty comfortable. Like other reviews mentioned, although they feel stiff at first, they eventually loosen up.

Pleasantly surprised how comfortable these shoes felt. Bought these to have a stylish and comfortable pair of shoes to wear while in Europe.

Stylish but no support or cushioning, feels like I am walking on cardboard, would don't recommend for walking long distances.

Cute shoes! For me they ran about a 1/2 small. Minimal arch support but enough for casual wear. The leather was stiff but softened after a few wears. I would purchase again.

I’m an 8.5 so I sized down and they are still VERY roomy. These are very comfortable right out of the box! The tongue presents no problem whatsoever for me. I’ve been wearing them for 2 straight days because I was worried about some of the reviews but I find these super comfy!

Stylish. Need some time to break them in.

I was inclined to write a review only because there are so many comments about the lack of comfort. This simply isn’t true! They need to be broken in for a couple days and THEN they will be a custom fit to your feet similar to a Birkenstock or a Doc Marten. Its worth it! The cushion is great and the support is nice without being too much of an arch support or too heavy. First time Veja customer, but will try more styles and colors. I’m a size 8.5 with wide feet, and the 8 fit well.

I wanted to love these as they’re so cute and the colors are exactly what I was looking for, but they are soooo uncomfortable. I’m usually about an 8.5-9 but when they’re whole sizes only, I usually fit the 9 better. These were a little big on me but not huge. Trying to get my foot into them took two people. I get that they’re a leather sneaker, but they are SO stiff! The lace holes were tight, so even loosening then tightening the laces took a lot of effort. Its possible that with some wear these issues may resolve themselves but at 6 months pregnant, I don’t have the energy or patience to wait for a pair of $150 shoes to break in…

They didn't have my size (8), so I bought a 7 because I read they ran large. I was initially excited because the length of the 7s was perfect, but they are VERY uncomfortable overall; I had also read that the tongue was uncomfortably long but that you could shift it to the side to correct the issue. I tried this, but they were still uncomfortable because shifting the tongue caused it to bunch up in the middle. The sides were also tall and rubbed my ankles creating discomfort. I'm bummed because I love the look, but I can't handle the pain.

I am a true 5 and these at least a 1/2 size too big. ?

Feel comfortable, fit well, look stylish and match everything!
