Love the vest as it keeps me warm in the cold NY winter. Not a fan of heavy winter coats, so this does the trick.

A nice and rugged jacket. Writing a review to confirm what one other said - I sized up from an L to an XL to get more room for shoulder movement. It also adds some lengths to the sleeves and the elastic on the waist keeps it from being too boxy. I'm 6'1, fairly avg/skinny with broad shoulders. Sometimes I buy Tall - not needed in this case in an XL. I bought this for my homedepot runs and outside work rather than wearing my all-purpose insulated Northface. I'm confident the rugged shell will be better vs hoping I don't snag my other jackets.

I purchased this for my husband who is an electrician in Boston. It keeps him warm while working. Also the specific jacket that showed up isn't stiff at all. Not sure if it's this particular jacket or not, but happy with this purchase.

Very nice fit and color for me. I love the practical uses for the jacket. I will probably buy other colors as well. This probably was one of the best buys I have ever made with Timberlands. Looking forward to another purchase.

Bought the grey last year and kicked myself for only buying 1 during the 30% sale. So had to buy the black this year when the sale came around again! So comfy, so warm, great material and quality. Love the look and style I wear it all the time in the winter with any jeans. Haven't washed them yet but would prob only cold wash and hang to dry. 100% recommend, no cons for me. I'm an athletic female with broader shoulders so M was great, fitted but enough room to layer another hoodie underneath if it's that cold. Just love the look, my favorite jackets that I own, hands down. #sweepsstakes

I owned similar Timberland jacket purchased 20 years ago and wore every winter. The edges of the front pockets had chaffed and were worn so I decided to purchase the same type jacket. I am so impressed with the quality and materials. The added fleece in the front pockets is a bonus. The insulating material inside the jacket is impressive. The only regret I have is I didn't purchase this jacket earlier! I've been showing it off and recommending to others. #SWEEPSTAKES

Purchased the Gritman lined hooded jacket for working in colder weather. The jacket material is pretty strong, pockets are lined to keep the hands warm. Great all around jacket.

5'8" 160 lbs. 18" shoulders, 30" waist, 38" hips, athletic build, medium (pewter color) fit well just how I like it. Super warm and comfortable, I love that the canvas material is stiffer. It's comfortably roomy for me with the hemline having 2" space at the hips when zipped up, but I probably won't wear another thick sweatshirt inside, if I did, I'd probably size up. I love the style and cut so much I really should've bought all 3 colors (pewter, wheat, black) during the Black Friday sale, kinda regret it now.

Normally in this brand I buy the large size but on this occasion of the jacket I buy the extra large size for the reason that the large size is a little reduced in the shoulders for that reason buy the extra large size at the same time it does not change the size much but it is more comfortable For the mobility of the shoulders and arms, that said I suggest that if they are large size I recommend the extra large size for better comfort Thank you very much

Bought the black color. I was so enamored I bought the gray and the wheat color. Sleeve length is great, comfort is great, big comfortable hand warmer pockets are great, chest zipper pocket is great, interior velcro patch pocket is even greater. So many pockets, I am in love. The duck canvas material does not feel stiff. I have no cons whatsoever on the overall look and feel of this jacket. I am greatly impressed. Might go as far to say best jackets I ever bought in a long time. I was worried about sleeve length considering I'm a short guy who have issues with jackets fitting too big on the sleeves, as my usual size is XS in most jackets that I buy. I hope next year they will release this jacket in a navy color. Make it happen Timberland I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
