I use it for work and it gets beat up and in all weather. It holds up. I been buying timberland yearly for my job and they always exceed my expectation.

Excellent boot, when I was in the building trades I wore the boondocks which were slightly heavier then this model. I am on my feet all day at work for 12 hour shifts and these boots are great. I am on concrete all day so they take a beating and I haven't had to change the insoles. I have had this pair for four months and they have held up very well.

It's an ok boot for me for the fact that the foot cushion is hard. If Timberlands would have put the Anti-Fatigue technology in these boots, I would have given them ten stars. The boots are greatly built, lightweight, look good in black, but the bottom of my feet hurt standing still for just five minutes. Put anti- fatigue in these boots!!!

Fit was spot on and the inside has a nice filled Pellow cushion interior which provide excellent warmth and comfort. Most importantly unlike most other shoes the interior padding does not break down leaving your foot sliding all around inside of boot while your laces are drawn as far as they will tighten.. Excellent fit that doesn't breakdown or compress, sole provides excellent all day wear while not hurting your feet or becoming fatigued..

Probably the best work boot I have ever had. I am in corrections and always on my feet. I need a rugged boot and this worked awesome. I did notice they needed a good break in period that took about 2 weeks and all of a sudden they felt even better. To make my footwear feel better I always go one size up and add an extra insole to the inside of the shoe for extra cushion. The heel feels fine and not to mention that formidable looking composite toe. The boot is a little on the heavy side but what do you expect from a boot of this kind. I am on my 3rd pair and they are great, just give them some time for break in. Good luck with them they are amazing...

TimberlandPro sent me a pair of the Summit boots to try out. These boots are extremely comfortable, no need to suffer a break in period. I found the tread to be aggressive enough for great traction, without it getting hung up on ladders or around the job site. It just happened to be a rainy day when I tested these out, I had to get up on a homeowners roof and had no issues with the tread slipping or my foot sliding around inside the boot, feet stayed warm and dry. I imagine these will be pretty warm into the colder weather.

I have been wearing these shoes for a year and 4 months so far and they really hold up great. I do use happyfeet insoles and not what comes with them, but I feel so comfortable in my work boots that I often go (1 mile) walk my dogs right when I get home from my 10 hr day without changing shoes. The water proofing held up for a long time and I revitalized with Nikwax and that works great. Honestly, worth the money! All the standing, stooping, walking etc that I do... it's absolutely vital that my feet stay in good working order. Not only are they comfortable, but they stand the test of time. Great quality.

The boots are great, true to size and width. Very comfortable, only needed one day break-in period, the more i wear them, the more comfortable they feel. Although I've only had them for one week, i haven't had any issues. They feel nice, they look nice, well made, and most of all, my feet feel very well protected.

From the moment I pulled these out of the box, they fit and we’re comfortable and warm. I didn’t have to break them in, like I often do with work boots. These are great, highly recommend. Sizing is correct.

They are very comfy to work in for 10 hrs and I work in a warehouse with concrete flooring. There a great investment. Downside they have a lil weight to them so I have a minimal amount of pain in my ankles.

I work at UPS very comfortable except the right shoe if I lace it snug. Leather scratches easy. The comfort of this shoe is unbelievable ugly boot but I love the boot.
Lighter than a steel toe just as hard. Dopeness I have always bought the Tim's construction boot.

I received the boots for free as part of a product test for Timberland PRO. I am a carpenter and have been wearing these boots for about 2 weeks. I have tested a couple Timberland boots in the past and these are by far my favorites. The boondock is just too large, heavy, and bulky for day to day wear, at least in my line of work. The Barstow leather style boot I feel was made more for the looks and they created lots of hot spots. These boots have been much more comfortable and usable for my day to day tasks.
The first couple days I wore the Work Summit I brought my other shoes in the event I had to change. They were a little stiff at first and the top on the tongue/cuff of the boot was a little irritating to my ankle. Mostly just while driving and bending but it never got to a point that I needed to change and through just 2 weeks of wear they have loosened up and I don't even notice it anymore. I've spent my wear test building a deck (digging footings, mixing and pouring concrete and framing) I've also had several maintenance calls and replaced a couple windows. The boots have performed up great both indoors and out. I haven't had any issue with the soles making marks and they are very quiet when walking indoors for a larger steel toe boot. The treads are very deep and provide great traction, I haven't had any issues with slipping even in the mud and clay I dug up. I will say that while providing great traction, they sure hold a lot of mud. I really had to slam my boots on my truck tire to get most of it out.
The only con or question really is about what I think Timberland calls the fiberglass shank? Whatever the little ridge is above the "step-propel" designation and can be seen in the photos. While certainly not obtrusive it is noticeable, not while wearing but looking at this shoe and removing. It helps to remove the first boot but honestly hurts my toe when removing the second boot. Insignificant overall but worth mentioning, maybe I am missing the purpose

I been a wolverine guy for over 10 years had keens other brands this is my second experience with tim pro and I'm switched for life. Main reason is the superior waterproofing of Tim Pro compare to other brands I tried In my opinion experience. These also have insulation I can slide in and out of them. Also the main reason I never tried Tim Pro before was price but you gotta keep checking website amazing deal on these.

Working as a carman inspector walking everyday in rain snow in cold and heat . This is the first pair of boots which you can just put on and go with out breaking time no blisters no sore feet not like red wings garbage off course in my only opinion . Couple more pros about Summit's after while wearing them they don't stink like others insoles stays in touch they don't come apart and laces once you tie them on they stay nice and tied no need for double knots . Overall great touch light comfortable boots i ever had on my feet .

These are the only work boots my husband will wear. They have lasted 2x longer than any we have bought and do not split after 6 months or wear unevenly.

Boots look great and fit well! Not too heavy and breathable so my feet aren't sweaty after a days work. My legs and back are no longer sore after a days work walking 10,000+ steps on a concrete floor.
