Really impressed with this boot. I have worn work boots for nearly 15 years and haven’t felt a safety toe boot this light and comfortable yet. The True Grit is easy to adjust and wear. I received them Saturday and I have already built 2 houses, a high school gym and a downtown high rise...and it’s not even Monday yet

I received these boots free as a wear- test opportunity through the company I work for. At first they were way heavy and I had pain in my knee for a few days. Once I got used to the weight, they were fine. The zipper on the sides is garbage, I received a blood blister in my finger trying to zip them up. I love the idea, but this specific zipper design doesn't work. Snug fit, comfortable. They are water proof so far, but I've only had them a couple months and only wear them a few days a week. Good product.

boot digs on the heel on both the left and right, size ran slightly smaller than timberlands I’ve worn in the past. overall a tough boot and they look good. as they’ve worn in the heel gets more comfortable.

This boot has got me through 2 years but there are problems. The zippers get stuck in webbing and hard to zip up sometimes. My feet don't hurt after 10 miles of walking. After the grip is worn it's slips like dog snot.

I got these because they look good and I've heard great things about the "anti-fatigue" soles. The soles are comfortable BUT these boots will make your heels blister and hurt within hours. Hopefully they break in eventually but for the time being they are PAINFUL!!!

so far so good i guess, I've only had them for one work week so we shall see how they hold up on the ferry boat deck! my last pair of boits only lasted one summer hopefully these outlast the Georgias. they are very comfy so far tho! not a big fan of the laces tho feel like a tennis shoe lace not like something for boots!

As soon as you take these out of the box you will have to run a line of superglue up the zipper seam and let it dry, leaving the zipper closed permanently. its the only way otherwise youll find yourself CONSTANTLY trying to zip the boots back up and achieve a comfortable fit bad design for such an expensive work boot.

The zipper is a great idea but a failure on these boots. They will come unzipped all the time and sometimes it's just due to the boot flexing while walking. All I buy is timberland work boots.

Good comfortable product. Zippers are constantly coming undone. Will not buy again due to this.

Highly disappointed. Big fan of timberlands growing up. Bought plenty of pairs growing up for street wear. Thought I'd give the Pro line a try since starting my new elevator construction job. They didn't last long 2 1/2 months and falling apart. Things aren't waterproof anymore. Stay away and save yourself the trouble.

I have ordered these boots in the past and I loved the style of them but I put these on and worked in them for 3 hours. I had to take them off. The back of the boot digs into my heel and is very painful.

Favorite brands, hands down!!! But these are a huge let down. One zipper gets stuck and the other zipper unzips on its own. Bought them with a company boot voucher but after a month with them they won't do a return or exchange, especially because I work in a chemical plant and they're contaminated and worn. So have to wait til mid next year. So frustrating!!

this is a great boot, super comfortable, great stitching work, stylish enough to wear formally, but they cheaped out on the zipper HARD. they went with an OPTI zipper slider instead of YKK that doesn't lock properly and slides down while walking, the slider catches the waterproofing cloth underneath it too and gets stuck. i had the zipper teeth rip open and the slider fall off on both boots and had to get a warranty replacement; they told me to throw my old boots away. truly unfortunate that they're wasting excellent quality and craftsmanship on a cheap zipper; so many boots going to the dump. basically unwearable once the zipper starts to fail.

WHAT is with side zippers on work boots?! What marketing & design groups still find this feature useful?! THE ZIPPERS NEVER STAY UP!!! To make matters worse they added a flap of material on the inside of the zipper which creates an uncomfortable lump that eventually rubs & digs into the sides of your ankle/leg... such a ridiculous flaw in an attempt to overcompensate an otherwise decent boot. Clearly the folks at Timberland are not blue collar workers with 12+hrs in boots out in the trades.

Boots inner pulled out within a month. Outside of boot has thin leather. My feet are always wet. Only had for about 4 or 5 months were supposed to be a replacement for another pair that failed. I might possibly be switching brands. I have been wearing timberlands for 15 years and they have gone down hill.

On my second pair, first pair had to get a warranty replacement after left zipper broke after about 2 months. My second pair now again has a zipper that won't zip. Is making a zipper that hard these days?

If you are active while you work and take more then one step during your work day, these boots are NOT for you. The zipper on the side repeatedly unzips and all support it lost. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The boots themselves are fine, but the side zippers are finicky and overall useless in securing the boot. In just over 3 months of wear one of the zippers has busted and jumped off its track.
