when i first got these I would have gave them five stars but 7 months later they are falling apart at the stitching and even before that a problem with the insole would make a squeaking sound with every step I took.

Excellent insultation, great fit, great protection. Not much more to ask for from a winter work boot, I would recommend to anyone asking about winter work boots.

The very first day of wearing these boots the eyelet came off. I don't even know what to day after that.

This is my third pair of Keen work boots. The other two are the Cincinnati and San Jose. I got the Dovers because I needed a work boot for cold weather. My feet get cold, particularly on the bottom, from standing on concrete outdoors. These are very comfortable fitting and of good quality as expected from Keen. However I am disappointed by the the lack of insulation on the bottom. The insulation is advertised for temperatures far below the temperatures I work in so I was expecting to be comfortable wearing them into the 20 degree range. The cold comes up through the bottom quickly, so easily that I can feel the cold of the accelerator pedal in my truck coming through the sole. Also, the uppers are quite rugged but the bottom is lacking. You should not be able to feel small textures or half-pea size pebbles through work boots. These provide very little protection on the bottom. I have flip flops that are more protective on the sole. I will not be buying the Dover again. If Keen offered the Cincinnati (6 or 8 inch) in an actually insulated version, that would be the perfect winter boot.

I originally bought these in the uninsulated version and liked them so much I bought the insulated version as well. Ive worn Red wings for the last 15 years No more! I wear them for work and for upland bird hunting and they have held up well over at least 50 miles so far. Warm, dry , supportive and comfortable Im a Keen buyer for life now!

Ive been happy with these boots so far. Took awhile to break in but they are comfortable and warm once they are.

I was deployed to Antarctica for a six month period. 2017 2018. Decided to to buy Keen boots, composite toes , insulation was good for the environment of extreme cold minus 40 degrees /Minus 70 degrees. The only issue that I had was the soles. Walking on ice all day had a effect on the molecular structure. It made them very slippery it was like they were glass. I fell many times because of the soles. Rubber soles didn't change and I had no problem with slipping on the ice.

These are the fourth pair of Keen work boots Ive purchased in a row. Ive used them on a 5 mile hike as well as working in 25 degree weather, with no blisters or cold feet. Performing well as expected!
