Ultimately I had to go up to my first size 8 ever. Thus, these are about a full size smaller than usual due to needing room for the toes in this Keen's composite toe boot. The exchange process with Zappos was good (as Amazon staff we initially had a limit of two exchanges with some minor admin to enable additional exchanges so this additional admin would not usually occur for most customers). I work for Amazon Fulfillment on hard, concrete floors, with a lot of walking, during 10 hour shifts. These Keen's were part of our work shoe allowance approved offerings but I paid more for a relative 'top line' pair of Keen's leather boots based on reputation and look and it was well worth it. The soles are excellent and I can wear them with my orthotics. We have 'step stools' for shorter workers that can and will hurt the soles of your feet if you do not have a very firm and sturdy pair of soles - even Dr. Martens will not cope with these step stools. These Keen's can and I find them extremely comfortable to work in and like the look of the shoe. In relation to fit, I read some website recommendations from shoe manufacturers for steel toe shoes (to which composite toe also applies) and the main thing was to make sure that your toes do not touch the front and that you wear them with a thick pair of socks. The 7 1/2 my toes touched the front and I doubted the 8 would work as going up is not usually recommended as then you can slip out of the heel. But, I decided to try the 8 and they were perfect so I was very pleased I made the effort. I can highly recommend this shoe for Amazon warehouse workers, particularly those who need to use the step stool.

These boots are pretty awesome! I purchased them through Amazon's employee program, but I had to pay more than the allotted $110. I invested in my feet because I am on them for 10 hours per day and they just cant hurt! I wore them the first day for a short 5-hour shift. To my delight, they fit well without a break-in, period, but then seemed to stretch and were heavy and cumbersome (like I was wearing my Dad's shoes). The next day, I found some thicker socks, and they were comfy. Still felt heavy, but the trade-off is that I often use my feet to wedge boxes into a cage. I didn't realize how much this hurts my toes. My feet feel much better at the end of the shift. I am a smallish woman with flat feet and arthritis. I wear size 6.5 or 7. I opted for the 7, and that was the right choice for me. You get what you pay for, and these boots are more than I could have purchased without the subsidy from Amazon. They seem to be well made, and I expect to have them for some time. As a bonus, these boots are easy on the eye also.

I had read where these shoes run a little small. They do. I usually wear a size 7, but after reading other reviews elsewhere I decided to order a half size larger and I’m glad I did. I am, however, able to wear my thicker wool socks which is nice. With my Ariat size 7 boots it’s a little tight with my thick socks (Darn Tough socks). These work boots are great for winter. They have tread that is really good walking into the building in the winter. The treads seem to be flexible enough to grip unlike my Ariat boots. I love my Ariat boots but not for winter. I get the leather Macey composite toe work boot. They are perfect in size 7 and perfect except the treads need to be more “winterized”. These Keen Utility boots are comfortable. I wore them all day long walking around at home for one day and didn’t have any issues and wore them to work the next time I wore them and had no issues! comfortable boot. I definitely will get another pair. I may not be able to wear them in the summer but for winter they are keepers! Thanks Keen! I wish they were not 6 inches high. I’d prefer 4-5 inches better.

I absolutely love these boots!!!!! I am on my feet for 10 hours a day on a concrete floor in an Amazon warehouse, This is my 2nd pair and they were perfect out of the box.

Feels awesome now at first kinda hurt but took maybe two days to break in overall worth it!

The shoes fit perfectly, but they do run a half size smaller than it says, but worked out perfectly for me because I wear 5 1/2 and the 6 fit perfectly! I absolutely love wearing them to work at Amazon!

The break-in was rough. But now that they are broken in, I absolutely love them. They keep my feet dry in the rain, and don't make my feet sweat a lot (even in 90 degree heat). They are very supportive and shock absorbing. Would definitely recommend!

Keen work boots are worth the cost. I ordered up 1/2 size and they fit perfectly. I wore mine for 1 1/2 years and with a new insole, they are still good to go for a 10 hour shift. I have a narrow heel and the heel design on these boots works very well without having to lace them too tight. Rugged and keep my feet dry.

The most comfortable safety toe boots I’ve ever owned and I have been through many brands. This is my first time trying Keen’s utility line, but I have several other pairs of shoes from them- sandals to snow boots. I have what I call duck feet, wide around the toe and narrow heels. These are the first safety toe boots that don’t pinch my toe box. They are very supportive and lace up high. I ordered mine in wide and didn’t need to go up a size.

Great boots, seem very sturdy and well made. I ordered a half-size larger and they fit well with the comp-toe. I think the best part is the round(er) toe box—it definitely gives your toes more wiggle room, which is something I’ve had problems with in other safety shoes.

Fit like a glove. I ordered half size larger so I could feel my toes wiggle, but that is just how I want it. With the VIP discount and the Amazon employee discount it was a steal! Handsome color and composition. Just what I wanted.

I find these shoes to be very comfortable. They did not take long to break in, and they are supportive. I recommend ordering your normal size. the shoes are good for wide feet.

Best work boots I've ever worn. Keen is worth the price.

I ordered an 8W. I can wear 7.5W, but need extra wide shoes as I have feet problems. Out of all the approved work shoes for Amazon Fulfillment Centers, these have been the best for me. I've worked the 12 hr shift and the 10 hr shift. I do use my custom orthotic insoles for the first 2/3 of my shift and then switch to the insoles the shoes came with. To wear the shoes for the entire shift with my feet issues and just the insoles they come with don't do the job for me, but to be able to switch out is perfect for me. The toe box is wide and my feet haven't had any issues with rubbing on the sides. Overall, these are the best shoes for me for working the long shift on my feet for 10 and 12 hrs. I highly recommend. The only two things that would make these shoes the absolute best is a better, thicker insole and some sort of protection on the toe of the boots as they are getting tore up from the ship dock cart breaks. I've had the boots for a year and love them.

Everything about this shoe is perfect. I often get a hand size bigger in shoes in I’m wearing them for long stretches of time, so even with these a half size still fits like a glove. I’ll always wear Keens!

I ordered a half size up, which will work for regular socks. If I was going to wear really heavy socks, they would be tight. They feel pretty good. After only a week in “stowing”, I wanted the full boot protection that these offer.

This is the second pair of Keen (Carbon-fiber Toe) work shoes I have purchased. The first are a year old and still have GREAT support. These boots I have not worn to work yet but from wearing around home are proving to be equally comfortable and supportive with no rubbing.

These are perfect for me!! I’ve purchased and loved Keens in the past for hiking and these are fabulous too!

They do require a day or two to of wearing to get use to and break in. So far I wear them most days at work. I will switch shoes every now and again , ideally I’ll purchase another work shoe. the show is lightweight but very protective.

THe first day they hurt a little after wearing for 5 hours. The second day they were fine. They are lightweight yet protective. Roomy but not oversized, I wore my cabin socks with them. They are perfect!

I first ordered my normal size in Keen shoes 8 wide. The 8 wides were a bit small, mostly in the width. I sent those back and got a half size bigger and those are excellent. I wore them for a few hours of outdoor work today and did not get sore feet. I normally have to use support insoles but so far I have not needed to change out the insoles these came with.

After reading other reviews about the boots being cut small, I decided to go for my current size, which fit perfectly! Very comfy! I did take a few days to break them in, and I wouldn’t advise wearing them to work until you’ve broken them in!

Due to past reviews on this shoe, I ordered a half size larger... now I am figuring out how to return so that I can get the proper size. I feel I will still need insoles because the current is completely flat, but overall the shoe seems durable and there is plenty of space in the wide toe area. Hopefully my exchange will be the perfect size.

Love it, it’s comfortable most of the time but sometimes it’s not. Wear it everyday to work.
