I typically wear size 11 including my orthotics. These size 11s crunched my feet. I returned them and ordered them in 11.5 next to hopefully get a better fit. I did like the material and the design (5-stars), but they definitely fit too snug for size 11 (3-stars). To save time, I’d suggest ordering them in 2-3 sizes and decide which works, then return the others.

After a dissatisfying experience with the Hoka One One Bondi 7, which I bought to deal with some persistent knee pain, I did more research and tried out the Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit, which I bought at a great price. For me, they are a MUCH better shoe: great fit and amazing cushioning. On my first run, I took them out for 7 miles and they were so much better than the Hoka's. In some reviews I've read, people felt that the ankles didn't lock down and there was significant heel movement, but they fit me like a glove and were extremely solid and stable. Other reviews mentioned the Nike's needing quite a bit of break-in time, but for me they were absolutely perfect on the first run. (I don't wear tiny, thin socks, so perhaps that was the difference.) Now I feel like buying another pair, but I'm also going to try out the Saucony Triumph 18 for another max-cushioned, protective running shoe.
