Love the concept of attached ixe cleats. BUT they were terribly small. I have very narrow feet and these were so tight.

Best winter boots I've ever had. They are extremely comfortable with a supportive foot bed, warm, easy to put on and take off. There's an on/off grip system that is so smart. When you are in icy conditions you just turn over the red parts on the bottom of the boots and little studs appear to keep you from slipping. Takes just a few seconds to make the transition. It's just a genius design. I've been wearing them for about three weeks in icy/snowy conditions. My size is a true 71/2 in a shoe and 8 in a boot. I bought size 39, my normal Naot size and the fit is perfect. There's no need to wear big, bulky socks with this boot. I think they will last a long time and are definitely work the cost.

5 stars because these were so cute, but they were a terrible fit!! I do have wider feet, but I tried to compensate by ordering a half size up. With socks on (which you need in the winter) I could barely get these on. Then when I did, they pinched my feet so badly I didn't even try walking around in them. I was so disappointed because I really liked them.

Other reviews mentioned sizing up -- I took this advice and it worked out perfectly. I am a 10, but with socks and the close fit, an 11 is just right - most especially if you like to use other insoles. The flip-to-ice spikes is ingenious! As a dog walker, I spend the winter strapping on and pulling off ice cleats, which can break, but this handy system makes it so easy to walk securely -- am looking forward to the first icy walks to try it out.

The boot fit smaller than sized. If you wear thick socks you probably should purchase one whole size larger.

The boots themselves are great. They are comfortable and warm. The zip front boot makes them easy to get on and off. My only complaint is that the boots did not come with the key that allows the conversion to cleats-the "OC Rotor System". This was one of the main reasons I purchased the boots: the built-in ice cleats.

Ordered up a size based on review recommendations…but the toe area was too tight….the top of the boot was pressing down on my toes. Unfortunately, they’ll have to go back. I buy Naot sandals all of the time and absolutely love them. Sorry these didn’t work.
