These are comfortable shoes and I like the look and color. I ordered a wide after reading previous reviews. My feet aren't wide, but I hate to feel squeezed, especially across the ball of the foot. I would not have been able to wear the medium. I also used the Clarks size guide and measured my foot, and ended up ordering at 6.5 where I normally wear 7s because I'm between those sizes. They are replacing a similar pair of Clarks shoes, and I'm happy with them so far.

Clarks is a company that makes shoes in narrow widths so a "go to" brand for me. I was looking for a navy loafer type and this shoe was the one I decided to try. It has a leather upper and appears to be well constructed. The comfort of the shoe is good--adequate width in the ball of the foot while yet being narrow and good fitting in the arch and instep. I do need a deep toe box for my great toes and these will be adequate. The one area of the shoe that I might question is the heel width--it is narrow but not real narrow however with the fit over the instep it should help and with a light sock. The style is very typical of a comfort loafer and I don't think it is bulky or clumsy looking. I plan to wear it with leggings, jeans and cords--it could work with a casual skirt too. Size wise--8N would be my size and that works in this shoe.

I could not get this shoe on my foot at all despite ordering my usual size. I was looking for a winter shoe to wear socks with but this one was a struggle. I couldn't see fighting with it everyday.

I usually wear an 8 1/2 A but this was probably an 8 1/2 AAA...way way too narrow. Unfortunately, I was really wanting them to work!

The fit seemed very strange on these. I am usually between a 9-9.5M, occasionally a wide. The 9.5M were so snug, I felt like one of Cinderella's stepsisters trying to cram my foot in. They were narrower than expected and the ball of the foot was very snug. My daughter has slightly smaller, narrower feet and the ball of the foot area was tight on her as well, but the arch area was too wide.

NO way on this earth is this shoe last a Narrow. I wear an A. My foot was swimming in this shoe. Nothing wrong with quality. The shoe is just misrepresented.

A very nice shoe. But it's not a narrow width. I am an A width and I walked right out of it. It's unfortunate. I wanted to like it and keep it. Clarks used to be reliable sizing. It's still reliable quality.

Tight! So tight I had to use a shoe horn to get on even after 1yr they never broke in

I loved these shoes but they were much to large for me.

The shoes were returns since the soles were worn. The shoes were in a generic box with no packing.

Very cute shoe. Although many reviews said they ran narrow, they were too wide for me. I ordered an 8 N and it was loose. Unfortunately I have to return them. They are very cute and look really nice.

I wanted to keep these, but I'm having trouble with Clark's narrow widths that used to fit. These were tight in the toes but my heels slipped out. Had to return them.

I have ordered and worn this shoe in 9N before with no problems. This shoes felt wider than 9N.

This is a shoe that I own and like for it's looks and comfort. I've had it in Navy for two years and wanted a second color. Last winter I ordered the black and it was too small (8N--same as the navy) so I recently decided to try the dark tan hoping it would fit like the navy. Wrong! I could barely get my foot in the shoe. The elastic over the instep is tighter than the pair I own. Once I got it on, it was obvious that it was short. I put the two right shoes side by side--one navy and one tan for the right foot. It was obvious that my navy shoe was about 3/8" longer. I have other Clarks in 8N that also fit--so what has happened with the size quality control? That said the quality of the leather was good--not stiff and the construction of the shoe seemed nice. Sizing is just a problem. Online shoe ordering is such a rigorous exercise. I long for the day when there is a brick and mortar store that carries a decent selection of shoes in narrow widths. Thanks to Zappos for an easy return policy but it isn't easy.

I ordered 3 pairs of Clarks last week and all three were styles and sizes I used to wear and which fit well. The shoes which came turned out to be wide and sloppy despite being a N width. Clarks were an excellent shoe and their Narrow width was excellent. Not so much anymore. They are made well but aren't true to size any longer. Very disappointing.

This is a cute style. I would like to keep it but it is not comfortable. Most narrows I try on are still too wide. This one is truly narrow with a well rounded toe that allows a little room. It is hard to get on because the top comes so high up on the foot. Anyone with a high arch would have a problem putting it on. It was long enough but rubbed the back of my heel. Also, the soles did not feel comfortable to walk in. Sorry, but am returning them.

I ordered two pairs of Clarks, Cora Poppy and Cora Giny, both in an 8.5 wide. The Giny was a perfect fit, but this one, Poppy, was noticably smaller, especially in the width.

These shoes are much too tight all over. Could not get them on! I have worn Clarks shoes for many years, have always worn the same size. This was very disappointing !

too box too narrow. Shoe arrived possibly lightly scuffed vs. natural striation in product. Since shoe did not fit I did not attempt to buff or do anything to shoe.

Too Narrow

This would be a wonderful shoe if the heel was a little higher. The heel is so low it hurt my back and the calves of my legs after walking in them at home for an hour were so sore they pained for 3 days.Wish they would make the same show with at least a 1 and half inch heel

Not very comfortable but I like the look

I found that with a sock this shoe slipped at the heel probably because this is a half size larger than my regular size. I may need to try a wider width but my regular size for a good fit. I have this same shoe already in a 9.5 but I struggle to get it on with a sock. What a hassle.

The size would have been fine. I don't know what is happening , but the sides of these shoes near the ankle bone bulge out when you put the shoe on. I have another the same style and those are fine and they do not bulge out. I had another pair that did the same thing.
