I have plantar fascitis and pronate and these are awesome. Like everyone else, I went up a size from the old sanitas.

Love, love LOVE that these clogs (designed in Sweden) are NOT made in China. In fact, they are made in POLAND! That is why I will be purchasing more in different colors, and will even get some for my two daughters. As others have noted,***these clogs truly do run a whole size small***. I normally wear an EU 36, but my toes hit the end of the 36, and they were quite tight for my medium-width foot. The 37 (usually a size too big) fit juuuussttt right, at least in the length. The left shoe (37) is a little tight across the last, but I'm going to stretch it with a good old-fashioned shoe stretcher. I believe it will work great. That initial tightness across the last (and only on 1 foot) is why I gave the 4 star rating, instead of 5 for comfort. These clogs are cute and practical and, oh, yes, I did mention, MADE IN FREE POLAND. Happy, happy, happy me.

These are very comfortable clogs. I love that they are water proof or resistant too. They do run small though. I had to exchange for a larger size.

Runs big! I’m a 41 in dansko but the 42 in sanita is a perfect fit. I own several pairs of sanita clogs but this pair definitely runs big. That aside, this oiled nubuck finish will definitely show imperfections. Too delicate for me so I won’t be sizing down for this one.

I am a solid size 9 or 40 in other brands (Merrell, El Naturalista, Vivo, Keen) and while these clogs in size 40 feel good lengthwise, they are a bit wide overall and are definitely not wearable barefoot or with thin socks (for me). Years ago I had Danskos and encountered the problem that 40s were too big, they stretched out and I needed thick or doubled socks to wear them, but 39s were a tad too tight/short. While these overall feel closer to fitting accurately, they definitely don't fit me like a glove. I do have a narrower foot and heel, but what I initially noticed is that the instep is not the tightest part of the shoe, which should be as per their fitting instructions. However, I realized I could mitigate this by inserting various thicknesses of insoles from other shoes, and this combined with different sock weights makes them work. Ideally i'd like to know I could wear them barefoot, but I don't foresee many times when I would really do that, so it's ok. As for the clogs themselves, they are quite lightweight compared to what I expected and for how heavy they "look." I purchased the olive color, which is an awesome brownish-green depending on the lighting. They have an almost suede-like texture which does collect scuffs and marks, but thus far I find that they rub out easily. I think it's the type of leather that will age and patina well. They are very comfortable, and the insole they come with (non-removable) is surprisingly cushy. If you are new to this style of clog, be ware of rolling your ankles. I found that to be a common issue with my Danskos, and because of the looser fit it could happen with these Sanitas too.

I like the look of these clogs but must return them. The 9.0 (European 40) feels just slightly too small and the 9.5 (European 41) feels just slightly too large. I ordered a pair of Dansko size 40’s ( which has always been my size in clogs) and they fit well, with a little room to spare. The “red” oiled unbuckle clog is actually more of a plum color, nice but not really red. I really liked the green version but the fit just didn’t work for me.

The same size Sanitas I purchased from Zappos in 2015 still fit perfectly. These were much more narrow and had to be returned.

I have worn Sanita and Dansko clogs, for work, over many years. I have narrow feet and found the Sanita clog provided a better fit. My last pair looked very nice and provided a comfortable fit for a long time and therefore, I wanted another pair of Sanita clogs. This pair did not feel as the other one did. It required a rather uncomfortable break in period. The footbed now has soft cushioning which feels nice but, also makes the upper shoe feel much tighter and definitely not good for a full shift of work, initially. The arch support is wonderful . I might have them stretched or simply continue wearing only for short periods of time. This break in period does not seem reasonable. The Blueberry color is a pleasant subdued color and the clog looks well made. .

I am ridiculously unsure if I am keeping these in a size 41 (which is the correct size having tried the 42 which is easily too big). I am generally a size 10 with low volume feet so sometimes need a 9.5. I have been wearing minimalist flat shoes like Vibram or Allbirds, or Birkenstock for the office but once upon a time i wore Sanita clogs often, too often. But what i can't forget about them is that during a NYC blackout i had to walk 5.5 hours to get home which i did without losing any speed only because I was in a Sanita clog sandal. If i hadn't had that shock absorption i would have dropped finally at some point before getting home. I wish we could wear the shoes for a while to see because just walking in the house i'm not sure. If I keep them it is a risk and a pricey one! So for now i'm on the fence but i have a return voucher and leaning that way. It may be too drastic a change from flat shoes of varying sorts to these.

Fit was ok. A little narrow across the top, which meant that the seams rubbed uncomfortably on both sides of both feet... a little above the arch. I usually wear a 40 in Dansko and a 41 in Sanita. These were probably true to size in width and length, but those seems were a deal breaker for me. Sad because the Sangria/Merlot color of the oiled nubuck was GORGEOUS!!! I wanted to keep them so badly, but the whole reason for buying Sanitas is for comfort, so they had to go back.

The front of these clogs looked lighter blue, like scuffed and they came in a generic brown box, bigger than a Sanita box and I need a box that helps me identify the shoe. But, they were VERY comfortable.

I was very disappointed in these shoes. I've worn this style clog for years (for work). I've worn this brand and dansko and never had an issue. So when I read reviews saying this shoe ran small I was a little perplexed but followed other reviews and sized up (I'm always a size 6 / 36) witch I've never had to do with this style. When they came I went to slip them on and first of all I could bairly get my foot into the shoe barefoot!!! They where a full size larger than I normally wear. When I was finally able to squeeze my foot in I also noticed the "foam" insoles definitely not a fan I prefer the older style "hard" insole. I figured if I wore them around the house some they would stretch out and I'd get use to the soft foot bed.... Wrong...I wore em for a little while around the house and I ended up with bruises across the tops of my feet for my trouble and I never was able to get my foot in while wearing socks!!!! If I went up another size they would have been far to large. Never have I ever had that issue. I also felt like there was no arch support. I was so sad as these where always my go to for work as I'm on my feet 8+ hrs a day. So sadly they went back and I'm having to search for a new work shoes.

Snug at toes, with and without socks. I’ve owned Sanita clogs in the past and it was not this tight at toes. Also length was longer, it slips from both heels when walking. Sadly, had to return. Loved the piled blue color with light color heels.

They started off great (comfortable and all) but the insoles did not hold up well. The sole and the nubuck held up great so it was really disappointing to have to get rid of them because the inside was uncomfortable due to sliding leather and tearing, buckling foam supports. They looked great and still had to go! :( I contacted Sanita and their US customer service is really, truly not very friendly or helpful. They said to go to a shoe repair shop and when I did, I was told the shoes could not be an easy fix. The insole was impossible to get out without being uneven and the shoe repair man said he would have to remove all of the upper to rebuild it and he just recommended a new pair. So, really they went from 5 to 0 stars way too soon. I am one who really appreciates good customer service; it makes me not want this brand anymore but I am also not sure what else could meet my standards on a practical level. Are there any other decent clogs not made with super-low wages and still have great craftsmanship? Dansko cannot answer to their ethics and quality control anymore. I am just not sure what to do because plain wooden clogs are too hard for my feet. I am very disappointed!!!

I love Sanita clogs, but I must agree with most of the other reviews. They are tight across the bridge of your arch and short in length. I ordered size 41 and wear a size 10. My toes touch the left tip of the shoe. Unfortunately, I will be sending them back. I wear a size 40 in Birkenstock and have no issues.

I have slightly wide feet, but usually size 40 (8.5-9) fits me perfectly in Sanita open back shoes. With these, I took reviewers' advice and ordered one size up. They were too narrow across the middle and too long, slipping off the heel when I walked. They seemed somewhat heavy. The green was slightly darker and greyer (almost off black) than I expected, but I suppose it could be a nice fall hue. I liked the nubuck burnished matte finish. So grateful to Zappos for easy returns and fast refund.

I really liked these but the interior of the shoe did not hold up well at all. The upper pad shifted and when it was being repositioned, the foam padding came apart. They are very uncomfortable now and Sanita is doing NOTHING about it. The clogs were nice when I first got them, but they did not hold up well at all for the price. I got these because I thought the standards would be higher than Dansko. The sad thing is that the soles and uppers are like new (great materials on those parts) and it is just on the inside that causes me to not be able to wear them. The shoe repair place said it could not be fixed without taking the shoe apart and it is not cost effective- just buy new shoes. I am upset by this because there otherwise would have been a lot of wear left in them.
