I had high hopes for this ankle boot. The heel height and foot comfort would have been perfect for long days on my feet. And the little detail of the slightly different color on the back edge was a nice extra. But the front edge of the ankle cut in and rubbed with every step, I knew it would lead to blisters or worse. If you have very thin ankles, this style might work for you. But it definitely didn’t work for me and I had to return them.

This is a comfortable and stylish walking shoe. I usually wear a 8.5 wide, but I ended up ordering the 8.5 medium, as my foot was swimming in the wide. I am hoping this becomes my go-to winter walking shoe.

These shoes were true to size. I was unimpressed with the quality of the leather which was thick, stiff and dull in appearance. The top of the shoe bit into my ankle and given the stiffness of the leather I expected that the shoes would be difficult to break in.

I LOVE these booties! They are genuine leather inside and out. Not fake but genuine. The fit and style is great, esp the insole, which offers great comfort. The insoles are glued in in the toe area, but they can be removed with careful loosening of the insole. I have boxy toes and diabetic feet issues, and these boots fit the bill. I am stretching the toe area with shoe stretchers to get a little more toe room. This is only possible because of the quality of the leather. These booties will last me a long time and therefore are worth the money. You get what you pay for!

Beautiful and well made comfort shoe. SAS run big, needed to size 1/2 size down. As now smaller size not available. Ordered another SAS shoe. Great comfort for my toe neuroma. SAS my new brand of shoes!

I am unimpressed with the SAS Bethany. I ordered the black and I don’t feel that it looks like a $239 shoe. The fit is good and arch support average so I may keep it.

SAS shoes seem to be getting more expensive and less comfortable, and I guess I'm going to have to expand to other brands for my painful feet (arthritis and bunions). The leather on these boots is thick and stiff, and I had trouble even getting the shoe on, even though when it was finally on, it turned out to be too large). No flex, no cushioning; a slightly padded insole but no real arch support. Disappointed after many years of being able to count on SAS for comfortable, supportive shoes.

Felt fine - Just so sad that one shoe arriving with a broken zipper meant the shoes went back.

Due to the shape of the shoe, I was unable to get it on my foot so cannot say if it fit or not. Shoe does not open enough to get your foot in unless one ordered 2 or 3 sizes too big. I will be returning them.

I LOVE SAS SHOES FOR THE SUPPORT AND COMFORT! I have been lusting for these shoes for some time now. I had to take a chance that they would go on sale and you would still have my size. FINALLY, I caught the sale and LOVE these shoes. Can hardly wait for fall.

Great boots, just tight at the top. Obviously not the right choice for me!

The shoes were a good fit. I removed the insole and replaced with a more comfortable one. Overall 4 stars
