Like many folks, I was looking forward to an “inside” winter shoe, comfortable for all the time we will now have inside. I have lived in the Josef Seibel all summer and I travelled in Europe in them last year. I have high arches, and plantar fasciitis, so comfort is important. The footbed is comfortable and breathes well. I choose to wear them with socks, so I have warmth. I have an 8.5 foot and the 40s fit well. I have worn them for two weeks now and I felt confident providing this review.

I bought a similar style of Josef Seibel clogs in Germany 8 years and I've always loved them... so much so, that they've worn out. I was delighted to see that after 8 years you can now get these in the US. They are the only clogs that I have worn that actually cling to your foot and arch and I don't slip off of or sling away from me. I probably could even run in them if i were so inclined.

I have been wanting this shoe for a long time. I finally ordered them in my usual dress shoe size of 11M. I was so disappointed that they run a half to nearly a full size too short for my jumbo foot and unfortunately there is no size larger so I had to return them. The width was a true Medium. They are absolutely beautiful shoes. They look even more amazing in person. I wish Josef Seibel could make them in a true size 11. If you are fortunate enough to wear a typical size 10 or smaller, I would definitely recommend them, but suggest go up 1/2 size larger than usual size. They appear to be very well made and the black leather is amazing.

Excellent shoes. I used these clogs from the first day I got them and had not problem standing most of the day at work. They are very cute too.

I wear 9.5, the size said 40 (9 - 9.5), but they barely fit lengthwise Other brands say 40 is 9.5 - 10 and those fit perfectly

Runs wide. Otherwise a neat looking comfort short with nice detailing. Wish they made a narrow size.

Like many Josef Seibel shoes and sandals, this one had nice support. I purchased two pair in different colors. The Ocean color was particularly pretty. Unfortunately, one of the decorative grommets fell off after a few days of indoor use. I thought it was just a fluke. But just days later, the other pair (also and indoor only pair of shoes) lost a grommet after only six months of use. So, buyer beware if you want the decorative grommets to last on this mule.

Classic shoe, + 1 for JS quality. Great looking, comfortable out of the box. These are exactly what I was hoping for.

These shoes feel like buttah!!! They're comfy with the right amount of padding in the foot bed, good looking, and the leather is so soft. Best shoes I've had from Josef Seibel in a while.

Good looking shoe. Very comfortable. As far as size, maybe a 1/4 size small but not enough to order the next larger size. I look forward to wearing them for a long time to come.

These are cute, lightweight and well made, unfortunately they just didn’t have enough cushion for my sensitive feet. The ball of my left foot aches when I wear hard shoes and I was hoping these would have a soft enough footbed for me but sadly they don’t. I do love that the insole is leather, those feel so good as they wear in over time. I have narrow feet with high arches and these actually fit pretty well in that regard, although they don’t have a ton of arch support. If only the insole were squishier I’d be keeping them, but alas they’re going back. Lovely shoe, just not for me

I would keep them, if they would be slightly wider. They are soft and comfortable and looks good and feel good. Unfortunately, too narrow for me.

I wear an 11, and my toes hit the end in their 11...I have narrow feet. Had to return them. Darn, they are so cute!

These were nice and light weight, a great choice for summer and on sale too but I decided not to keep these clogs. I found them not comfortable with my long toes nor secure enough for my foot. Also, they looked a little long in the back as does in the video which I didn't like. I returned these and went back to Dansko for clogs.

Love the style, and really wanted them to work. But, they run small and wide. I wear a 39N in Birkenstocks, and have some Josef Seidel sandals in a 39. The 40 fit lengthwise in this style. Deal killer was that this design has too much “volume” across the arch, although the actual width seemed OK. Net, even with my fluffiest socks, they still felt loose. Back they go. Bummer.

I wear a 38R in Birkenstocks and ordered a 39 in these (Blue & Black). Wish I had ordered a 40. Dang, back they go for a larger size. I do like the width for my wide foot; there's only an essence of arch support (in my opinion, but I have high arches).

The shoes were at least a size bigger than my normal size. I also felt the leather was not as nice as the naot mules I bought a few years ago. Additionally, I did not like the style.

I like these shoes but the first day one of the rivets along the top fell off. Very disappointed.
