Bought all three colorways. Fits true-to-size. Breaks in after a couple of wears. Great for casual and dressy occasions. I do not receive any discomfort around the zipper or ankle. I am very satisfied with the look and quality of this boot. I highly recommend, and will be back for more of Florsheim's excellent selection.

Very comfortable, no need to break it in like others, soft inside, well insulated. Looks good in every occasion with every style of pants. Prompt delivery and no defects so there is no need to call the service department. True to size! Highly recommended.

I had a friend wearing a pair of lace up boots boots with the zipper on the side and just fell in love. I bought one pyramid in Spain in this pair. I like this pair better and it was half the price. They incredibly well built incredibly comfortable and look fantastic. I'm a big fan of Florsheim shoes. Cole Hahn and Johnston and Murphy better be looking over their shoulder.

The Lodge is my absolute go to and I can wear them comfortably from a home inspection I conduct to a business casual lunch. They felt amazing from the moment I put my feet in and I will be a customer for life!

Really nice fall/winter boots that pair perfectly with denim, flannel, fleece and sweaters. I chose the more casual brown option that looks slightly distressed and receive compliments every time I wear them. More comfortable than anticipated. Cool inside zip for easy on/off. Consistent Florsheim quality and sizing. I've seen similar boots at twice the price...

Very nice, masculine, comfortable stylish dress boot.
I liked the brown color and had a low directional suede look. So it makes them look more expensive than they actually are …It’s a cool look that reminds you of a true hiking boot, but is smooth enough to be dressy. You can wear these with Jeans or dress slacks and you’ll look sharp. They have a slight heel and will make you feel a little taller - Even at 6’-3”, They give me a little boost.
They can get uncomfortable if you wear them longer than 10 hrs. a day - especially in warmer weather. They are NOT waterproof like true hiking boots. I wouldn’t recommend walking around in them for very long periods of walking and not for hiking.
The side zip feature is great as they can remain tied and allow you to take them on and off much easier. At the end of a long day, you’ll be the thankful for that added feature.
