I'm a big fan of the GT-2000 9 - these are my third pair having done over 1,000 miles between the two previous pairs. I like the balance of comfort and stability. The fit of the shoe is great, with a good snug feeling throughout the shoe. The AHAR+ carbon rubber material in the heel portion gives fantastic durability. As a heavy runner for me to manage over 500 miles in a shoe is good going.

Very lightweight and comfortable. I love being able to put my Spenco inserts in them for added stability. Great for over pronation.

I have a very narrow foot and a high arch. This shoe is perfect for me. Because my size is so difficult to find, when I do find it I order two pairs. Thank you for making this narrow shoe, I wish there were more of them.

The GT2009 has the fit and quality I expect from ASICS. I have a pair each of the 2007 and the 2009 models and have found they have a similar fit: they both grip my heels while giving me an ample toe box for my wide feet. Like most customers, I always order a half size larger than my normal size. I walk up to 14 miles a week on my farm, which takes me through grass, mud, slag, dirt, sand, and elevation changes. This model definitely provides support for over-pronation in my right foot's high arch and the fallen arch of my left foot. I would appreciate a deeper lug for better traction cross country, but this sole is sufficient. I like that I can toss them in the washer as needed, dry them on the clothesline, and they never fray or come unglued as a result. I just purchased a second pair of 2009s. The current marine blue is far better than all of the dreary black inventory for wide feet, but I was thrilled to purchase the new pair of 2009s in a brighter, more cheerful color: pale gray with shocking blue and purple accents. People with size 11D feet want wonderful splashes of neon and pastels, as well.

I'm so happy I could cry. For the first time in my life, now 48, I found a running shoe that fits my both tiny and narrow feet that also needs pronation support. Please, please, please newer stop making these shoes and keep the small sizes. These are so comfortable and I finally know how a got fit should feel. Hugs my feet perfectly.

This is my 5th pair of the GT 2000 series. I bought my first pair about 3 years ago. I had a bad case of plantar fasciitis. These shoes are great if you have this condition. I even use my old pair to work in the garden. Keep my feet feeling good. Will continue to buy this model.

supportive for my flat feet! I don't feel them on when I use them for workouts. It stabilizes my ankle and fits very well! Just a note, I did go up one size up. I am usually a size 6 and originally ordered 6.5 but then exchanged it for a 7 because it was tight.. I could barely get my foot in, so definitely size up one size larger. Their sizing survey was pretty accurate for me.
