A few years ago I purchased an XSmall Classic Timuk2 messenger bag for travel (back in the day) and loved it for it's organization, carrying capacity, and super lightweight. It was my go-to bag but a bit large for just hacking about town so when I saw this version and in PURPLE, had to check it out. It definitely needed a user's guide for the various removable straps and such and while it doesn't have some of the features of my first bag (ie, a key ring, padded separator in the main compartment, or additional specialized pockets), the size is perfect. Even the shorter cross-body strap (which allows a larger person to wear it closer to the chest) is fine for a petite person to wear it at the hip when the strap is fully extended. The additional exterior pocket on the main strap is great for a phone or for putting your mask in as needed! Who woulda thought when this bag was first created! Am appreciating how even this bag can accommodate a lot for its smaller size--an unforeseen benefit.

I like my bag and got another one because I was in need of one. However, I have to admit when I ordered the bag what I really wanted was the XL version that I had stolen years back. I liked the really big bag I used to see the bike messengers using in the Financial district when I lived in San Fran. Please let me know if and when you make them again!!

I have had the Classic Bag for years and years. I have used it for a suitcase for many a trip from my home in Oregon to Arizona and all over Europe and just recently I was on level two evacuation order and my Timbuck2 bags were my first go to bag and the classic was the first bag I reached for. I have been so happy with the bags I had no idea that you had discontinued production. Thankfully I was able to get some of the re-issued Classic bags in case that happens again.

It's well constructed and aesthetically pleasing. It seems durable. Very roomy. Only downside is that there is no inner divider. I didn't realize that until I opened it but I still like it.

this is my third bag through timbuk2. Very pleased with how durable the bag is. I am a large individual and the large size is a great fit for me. Shipping arrived earlier than expected. Overall good expirence

Echos of my first mini-messenger loooooong ago. Really well made and the purple is STRIKING. Love the reflectors and the OG waist loop (though I removed both for edc use). The interior pockets aren't as functional as the newer models, but it's still just a great 8L bag in a super retro style. The strap is a little shorter and the old school adjustment is not as intuitive, but it's got a great style and still comfy cross-body for a medium build. It's a great throwback to TIMBUK2's beginnings and I'm gonna use it till it falls off.

Great for quick outs with room for kindle wallet keys and phone and it's h2o resistant.

I use this while riding my bike, and at first it was weird because it kept sliding even with the clip thats supposed to prevent this, but yesterday I decided to use my right shoulder to load it and it seemed more stable. So maybe this is a right shoulder bag instead of a left shoulder bag Wich seems really awkward to me but it works.

I was so excited for this bag. The strap is frightfully short- which I wish I had known. Anyone larger than a young physically tiny teen cannot wear this as a cross over bag. I am so disappointed.

I bought this bag. I saw the dimensions and thought it would work for me. I received it. It's beautiful. However, it's way to big. I'll never use it. I will be selling it. If you have interest, it's never been used. Let me know and I'll sell it to you.

I bought this as a replacement for my 14yr old Metro bag. Dimensions listed only show bag size but not shoulder strap length. Whe fully extended strap makes it a sling bag unless your small.

Why doesn't it state anywhere online that this bag is size XL? I'm disappointed overall. Bag is too big. You guys are sure to mention Final Sale!! Of course you are!
