I love this bag. The only thing is the credit card slots are not big enough. I had to return it

I bought this bag 2 weeks ago. It's a nice bag but I find the shoulder/crossbody strap too thin.

I carry a wallet every day and wish this bag had the 3 measurements in order to know if my wallet would fit in the largest section.

All Baggallini bags are nice bags, but I didn't care much for this one.
I have carried smallish crossbodies for quite a while and liked the idea of this one, since I prefer a magnetic flap on the front to give me easy access to my phone and to give me a reasonable amount of security that my phone won't drop out.
It does have that feature, which I like. It also washes up absolutely beautifully (I wash it in the washer and hang it to dry). And the charcoal color with the magenta lining is gorgeous--if I could have a lifetime supply of the perfect bag in this color combo, I'd be very happy.
Unfortunately, this isn't the perfect bag for me. My 2 major issues were the weight (lots of heavy zipper pulls mean this bag weighs as much as leather crossbodies of a similar size--heavier than I want for everyday or lightweight travel) and the built-in credit card pockets that get in the way. I don't mind a couple of pockets in a back compartment where I can stick a tiny pack of breath strips or a safety pin, but I use a small compact wallet so they're unnecessary. Worse, every time I went to put something in the bag, it would grab on all those pockets sticking out of the lining. I just want a fairly simple layout and less weight. A Another (minor) issue is that the bag's length made it sag a bit in the middle. Finally, since many of those who like Baggallini and Travelon brands are frequent travelers who know better than to flash expensive brand names in their travels, I would like to see Baggallini offer this and other bags without such a visible logo.
I also have the mini crossbody which is much closer to what I want. If Baggallini would make a hybrid of the mini and this bag (without all the heavy zipper pulls), I think that might be the perfect bag, especially if they sold it in the charcoal/magenta color option.
This bag may very well work for others, especially those who are downsizing from carrying larger bags.

The strap is very thin and the print looks less attractive in reality. I may use it now and then but thought it might have replaced a great bag that is getting worn. NOTE: the way the bag is shaped is not square so the bag pocket won't hold items that seemingly would fit.

Verified PurchaseReview for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Loved the wild plum color and really wanted to keep it. But the flap pocket isn't big enough for my phone with case. And, if I put my phone in the other outside pocket, it falls all the way to the bottom and effectively reduces the size of the interior pocket. So if my phone doesn't fit, I can't keep this, color or not :(

The zippers are poor quality they get stuck opening and closing. The compartments that used to fit a credit card nicely are no longer big enough. I am not satisfied with this bag and I returned

One of the more important zipper had real problems turning the corner. Kept thinking it would loosen up but didn't. Ended up returning it. It was supposed to be a replacement for an older model. The quality seems to have diminished.

The size of the bag is perfect, but the built-in card slots are too tight. The cards are too hard to put in and get out. The slots are not made wide enough. Of the three I bought, only the blue one is ok. The quality control needs improvement.

I'm a long-time fan of this style of bag; I've worn out two others. The short story: This version is not as good as the old one. On the plus side, it has added a dedicated cell-phone pocket, which I like. On the negative side, it's got a useless front flap that makes the entire wallet pocket stiff and hard to use. In addition, the front flap's stiffness makes the zipper around the wallet pocket stutter and stick at the corners. The entire purse is just a bit too big (an inch or so bigger than the old version). I'm contemplating borrowing the strap from this bag and using it on my old bag instead.

I purchased this bag in the hopes it was the same as the old style.
It's close but not nearly as convenient to use. I have one in every color of the old old style but didn't have Navy. The card section doesn't close nicely as it catches on the one corner.
I do hope you do make the old old style it was absolutely perfect....this is a close second but just doesn't measure up.

I was looking to replace my original Baggallini and found this bag to match the dimensions. I was disappointed to find that the useable space was much reduced. The snaps on the crossbody strap are weak and have come loose several times. Make the interior space more generous and I might call it one of my favorites.

Can't tell from pictures and not included in the written description - - is there a key loop? I have the previous version of this bag and like it. It does not have a key loop which many of my other Baggallini bags have. It's a small but very much appreciated feature.

For several years I have used the Baggalinni "Provence" style purse. When I looked at ordering a new one the reviews were not wonderful as some changes had been made to the design. So, I ordered 2 different CrissCross bags and the Everyday Crossbody bag. They are all so small they didn't hold nearly what I was used to putting in the "Provence"
style. I returned them all. Now I am shopping for a different brand to see if I can find a new purse. So sad.......please consider returning the original "Provence-style" to your choice of bags.

Wish I could say I love it because it is well made. But it is too small. The card slots are extremely small and very tight for credit cards. I did check the measurements of the purse before I bought it, but alas it is too small. I originally purchased because it was supposed to be lightweight and it is, but the size is a disappointment.

The fabric is heavy and does not lie flat inside the bag. The strap does not have the expected metal wire. It is larger and heavier than I expected.

I have had several of these bags over the years and loved each of them. This one would have been perfect except the credit card slots were too small on one side for an average credit card. I had to send it back.

This is not the original everyday crossbody bag, so why do you call it that? I also bought the old everyday crossbody bag 3 years for a trip to Spain. When I returned home, I never went back to my large tote bags....I love the convenience of this one so much! I thought about getting a new color, but decided against it when I read the reviews.

I own many Cross-body Baggs. What I wanted was a Bagg just about an inch larger for H, W, L. new Bagg matchs! However, the old bag had two sm. pockets on the front, 1) zipper good for a few meds; 2) snap good for business cards & sm. phone. I'm a disabled woman, 70, with multiple sclerosis. I used a rollator, similar to walker, but with 4 wheels, under seat storage.
What makes the new item so disappointing is the strap, vital to attaching to my rollator. The old strap was adjustable on both ends of clips. The clips are vital for me, because I can clip my keys on to the clips. So many of the new Baggs, lacked this important feature.
Let me know when/if you go back to Sm. Baggs with more adjustable straps w/clips.

I bought this to replace an older everyday bag. I returned this bag for four reasons: the zipper on the front built-in wallet was not sewn in evenly, so it didn't slide smoothly on one side; the zippered compartments within the wallet section were a little too small, so it was a tight fit for bills; the front pocket with flap, which I wanted to use for my phone, was very stiff, so not easy to use for the phone - or anything else; the straps are made from seat-belt type material, not the same material as the bag, as in my old one.

I bought the small cross body. It doesn't open up wide enough to be practical. I have small hands and it was a struggle to get items in and out. All it holds is a lipstick shoved in the bottom that you can't get to if anything else is in the purse, a passport, couple of credit cards and phone. That is all. Don't try to put in tissues, money or anything else because they won't fit. Add about an inch more depth so it is practical and I'm sure it would be a great bag. Totally a design problem. The bag is solid.

Even though I like the style of purse the workmanship has gone downhill. The sewing on the purse is subpar. This is the second one I bought that the workmanship was terrible. I will not waste my money on anpther Baggalini product. You lost a customer.
