The fit was perfect. I normally need a wide shoe due to high arches and a wide foot but these fit perfectly and the built in support is amazing.

I have bought a lot of shoes lately, and these are very nice. Sano by Mephisto are a bit different than traditional Mephisto shoes. Sano have the curved soles that give the rolling effect. Not overly done. These shoes are very roomy like most Mephisto shoes, but maybe a bit more. They are not as wide as the Mobils by Mephisto models. I was a bit disappointed with the quality control. The suede material had a bit on an irregular edge. I am super particular, and this would not bother most people. I decided that I didn't like them enought to keep them, but they are really nice shoes. One interesting fact is that Sano in Europe is the most expensive Mephisto brand. A Mobils Kristof Shoe is $450 in the USA, but about $250 in Europe. A Sano Amory is $299 in the USA, but about $290 in Europe. Very strange. Better value for Sano is the USA.

I like Mephisto and I have forsaken all other brands. I used to like Cole Haan and Ecco, no more.
