These shoes fit over my son's afo's! I bought the xwide width (which is difficult to find). The laces allow for a wide enough entry into the shoe. Once the shoes are on, you can adjust the laces to fit snugly over the afo. Today was the first day of use, so I can't speak to how well they wear. But they do seem to be high quality. So far, so good!

My child has extra wide feet and I was hoping these would be a bit more wider or had a little more give than they did, but they fit and he hasnt complained yet. In order to keep them from being too snug I have to loosen the laces to the point of barely being able to tie them. Finding shoes for him is so hard, so I'm just glad they fit.

My son loves them, they are actually wide enough for his feet. Up until now the only other shoe that’s fit is new balance. This particular pair is a beautiful blue. They look very well made. We will see how they hold up, he’s very tough on shoes. I will be replacing the laces with no tie laces as he’s only 3 and hasn’t learned how to tie his shoes yet.

For w they were narrow especially as they were said to be made for adaptive needs. Depth could be a little deeper. My 25 yo daughter has worn AFOs almost since birth. Her feet stopped growing a a little kids size 12. She needs depth & width to accommodate her AFOs and the lifts on the braces. We are sad that Keeping Pace went out of business. They truly understood the adaptive shoe for AFOs & made a sturdy good quality shoe which lasted a long time. Perhaps someone could inquire about being able to purchase their patents/patterns …… Don’t want my daughter to stop walking because of the lack of proper product!

I bought these for my great grandson. My granddaughter said they fit good. I have been searching for extra wide shoes for him in stores. Would definitely be interested in buying more for him in the future.

These are my go-to shoes for my son with SMOs. We’ve had them for about 6 months now and they’re holding up great so far. My only complaint, and it’s a minor issue is that the shoelaces are round and seem to untie more often than flat laces. Besides that, I’m very happy with them. I only wish they made them in more colors!

I bought these for my son who wears AFOs. They are extra wide and so easy to slide on over the brace. They aren’t bulky, and the leather is very sturdy. So far, so good!
