I loved these at first. Super cute, super comfortable, great arch support and toe room while still being adorable and stylish. BUT the cork wedge part FELL APART after only a few months wear (the sole showed hardly any wear, the top and insole were still in excellent condition, but the wedge of the heel disintegrated all the way through). Birkenstock refused to accept a return or take any responsibility, even though I sent photos of the problem as well as that the soles were still in hardly worn condition. It’s too bad, because I loved papillios and their wedges in particular, but can no longer recommend them due to faulty construction of the cork part.

So Cute!!! I usually wear 38 in Birk arizonas but in this style I had to size down to 37. They are nice and roomy in the toe so no swamp feet. I live in warm weather so I wear barefoot or thin dress socks. I do have slightly med-wide feet and no issues to report. Color is true to photo. Heel height is just right and the classic Birk foot bed for comfort is so nice. Usual break in time to conform to your feet. Shoe is lightweight so no beast-clomping. Just bought the dark brown too bc the fit and style is just perfect. Now only if they made one with a sling back strap…a girl can dream…

Just didn't work for me. I've had other Birkenstocks but these were tight across the instep where the buckle is, even when I loosened the adjustable strap. I wore them around the house for half hour and the top of my larger foot bruised badly and swell up to the point I could not wear most of my other shoes. It took over a week to heal. I love the look of these and the beautiful green suede material but the fit negated any other plusses.

These shoes are just adorable. They might be even more comfortable than my flat Birkenstocks because of the slight heel. I was looking for a casual but not too casual shoe that I could slip on easily and also wear with socks for cold weather, and these are perfect.

These should be considered pillows. I love them could wear them all day. My foot measure 10.5 wide got these 11 narrow. The look is fabulous absolutely love wish they had more colors.

Love the style, and they're comfy right out of the box, but the big shiny gold buckle is a deal breaker for me. Way to ruin a great shoe. Love the green color and the 38 narrow fit perfectly (7-7.5 medium regularly) even with a bunion. Sadly going back.

So cute but the buckle is a gaudy gold. Too bad it’s not silver or less shiny gold. Sent them back.

Color is perfectly neutral and they are so comfortable. I’ve been wearing them non stop

My first pair of Birkenstock wedges, and they're just as comfortable as the Birk flat sandals and shoes I own. Fantstic arch support, but are a bit snug with anything but thin socks (it's hard lately to find Birkenstocks in anything but narrow width, which is what these were). I know that with time they will stretch, and the green suede is a great color.

The Fanny is very cute, stylish and comfortable! Love the Thyme color for Fall. Note I wear a 37 in the Mayari and bought a 38 in the Fanny for toe comfort.

Shoe arrived with scuffs…. I liked the style and it does not look like a clunky clog — shoe also seems to run a bit narrow and short — I’m a solid Birkenstock wearer for over 30 years but this is my first closed in pair— will size up and see

Wish they would have silver or black hardware, the gold is so tacky.

This style is for a wide foot. Even if I had moved the buckle to the narrowest hole, I still would not have been able to wear these as they were very sloppy on my foot. Also, I would size down.

Luxurious materials that create soft, malleable foot bed, but the shoe overall is oversized on each foot. and they slip off easily (not to mention that my heel sticks out about 3/4 of an inch on one shoe.

I am a true size 9, and these shoes are marketed as 9 to 9.5. Why? Both shoes are well beyond my size, and they are also too wide. Additionally, right out of the box they were scuffed up on the toe and side areas of the clog. I am bummed, as these were a splurge for me and I was hoping they would be as perfect as the last pair of Papillo slides I ordered.

Wedge Papillio is very comfortable. My first Birkenstock purchase, and will probably buy more. The fit favors 'longer foot-shorter toe' anatomy very well. Its marked as narrow, but was ample for wide toes. Very pleased. Zappos, as always incredibly fast, and quality perfect.

I can wear them all day, and they feel amazing. They are a little wide for me, but I have narrow feet, so that is not a reflection of the shoe; I sometimes wish there was a removable backstrap (a la crocs) to keep them on.

Super cute, I normally wear a 6 1/2 to a 7 and purchased both a 37 and 38 to compare. The 37 fit but seemed a bit short so I kept the 38 which felt a little more roomy. Can’t wait to wear them in the fall
