The shoe has comfortable insole and is a pretty boot but the upper part is very stiff and where it sits makes for an uncomfortable fit.

Clean lines, beautifully made, a timeless addition to my wardrobe! I have own these boots for two weeks now and have worn them multiple times to work. They are very comfortable. I ordered a wide width to allow for thick socks, but they seem pretty roomy. I could have probably been fine with a medium width.

The shoes were nice but the shoes were too tight for my wife.

the top of the boot is uncomfortable and rubs against the top of my ankle, the sole of course is very comfortable

Absolutely lovely boot. Except it fits very narrow in the toe area.

Another cute boot but those with wide feet, it's still bit tight even with wide option.

Although the boots have a gorgeous shape, the little metal bar with the logo, placed on the outside of the boot, makes it impossible for the leather to bend as you walk. The boot has literally cut into my skin on that side. I had to have the metal logo bar removed, which left 2 little holes in the boot. I'll wear them, but have to make sure to cover that area.

Leather is a bit stiff. Ankle hurts when going down the steps. Will continue to wear until the leather gets softened hopefully.

They are comfortable but there is an interior flap that the zipper catches on when trying to zip up and down..they do not zip easily.

The boot is very nice but much more narrow than previous Rockport boots I purchased, it is most likely the pointed toe vs a square toe

Bought during winter to wear for work outfits and date night. After 6 attempts to break them in, each time left me with bleeding ankles from friction on the outer seams like one reviewer stated. Unless you wear thick knee length winter socks, these will have you limping within an hour.

They are beautiful however the inside edges of the top of the boot are scratchy and hurt my legs. They would need to be worn with socks. I returned them.

I would love these shoes except for a major design flaw, the opening is way too narrow for anyone with a high instep. I ordered a wide and couldn't even get the shoes to past my arch, which is a shame because they are lovely looking, but not accommodating at all for anyone with high insteps. They have been returned.

I'm so disappointed. These are beautiful boots, and I hoped since they were Rockport they would be comfortable. The shaft of the boot is terribly stiff, and I'm just not sure it will get better. I tried walking around in them for a day inside my house, because I really wanted to keep them, but just couldn't risk it. I do a lot of walking (not just from my car to my office or my car to my house), so I really needed comfortable waterproof boots.

Love the style, color, heel height but the metal decoration at the top of the boot rubs against both of my ankles and made it very uncomfortable to wear. I tried to put some mole skin on the inside of the shoe but it did not help. They would be so much better if they just put something else on top of the boot.

The jury is still out. They are absolutely beautiful and my feet, themselves, are comfortable.but, they dig, especially where the brass logo is, into my upper ankles and is very painful to the point of causing sores and now scabs. Trying to get used to them and break them in, but not sure it is going to be a "go." If not, this makes me sad as they are gorgeous.

Has any one found a solution to prevent the raw friction between your ankles and outer seam? For as much as I paid for these I'm so disappointed that I can't wear them. I've tried mole skin, tucking my jeans in, socks, bandaids and still I end up with my skin bleeding. I've tried breaking them in but I only regret it as I'm back to square one.

Boot was too tight on the top of my foot. The top of boot rubbed, making to walk. Had red rub marks just above the ankle Right boot hard to zip because of excess material

Nice looking but VERY uncomfortable The top of the bootie is painful and cuts into the flesh above the ankle. I wish i could return them!

I bought these to wear for work since I'm on my feet and needed something comfortable. After 3 days of hoping I could break them in and wearing thick high socks the ankle boot rubs against my ankles causing a rash and are sore. I went back to wearing my old shoes until I find something more comfortable. I have had other rockports in the total motion line with no problems.

I bought this a month ago and had to send them back. They are super cute but they are very stiff and hurt my ankles. I also ordered 8W and they were not wide. They were narrow and uncomfortable. Normally Rockports are good for being wide width and comfortable, but not these booties. Would not recommend.

The delivered product is full of scratches and there is no answer to any inquiries regarding returns. I do not want to buy again. I can't add a picture Photos are attached to the return mail.
