I own a lot of (and love!) another brand of leather ballet flats that are less structured but could never find them in a cream color I liked. The shoes I received were a little snug, not realizing at first that I was sent a half size smaller than what I had ordered. Zappos was great to deal with and sent me the correct size. The shoes I received in my size are a little bigger in the width and length than what I need. Thin insoles help take up the space and add more comfort to a shoe that is already comfortable. The Vanilla color is lovely. And just so you know, the size and material information is printed deep in the toes of the shoes so you cannot see it easily.

I wear 8 and 8 1/8 respectively , depending of a style and manufacturer and I ordered those in 8 since 8 1/2 was sold out. Size 8 felt more like 7 1/2 and they were also narrow . I did not reorder them because leather felt stiff and edging of the shoe was rough - I knew I would end up with blisters no matter what size I order.

It is a little wide at the instep, but a good fit otherwise. I am pleased.

The shoe is a little wide at the instep/arch. However, I can live with it. Otherwise, the toe and heel widths are fine. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Felt more like a 9 than an 8.5.

I'm between a 7-1/2 and 8. These were about a half size small for me so I would need an 8. I kept these a few days to try on and make a decision, and decided to return as they were just not comfortable.(the size 8 was not avaiable) I was also not crazy about the little bow on the toe. I've tried to find a simple, nicely made black leather flat and can't believe how hard it is to find one! I even ordered a $225 brand and it was not comfortable and the outer sole felt slippery. I ordered a black leather flat by Frye and it did fit in a 7-1/2 I will keep it, although the toe is really too pointed for my preference. Just had to settle on it as every other option failed.

This is a nice shoe, but ran extremely small. I usually take a 7 1/2, but I could have sized up and ordered an 8 1/2. Runs very small!

Definitely like the RL Jayne flat. I usually wear a 7.5 to 8 M depending upon style. A rounded toe will fit perfectly in most cases. These are too short in toe bed and feel like a narrower size M shoe. Will return.

Nice looking shoes, but unfortunately the stitching inside is made of fabric and is a little rough for those feet-sensitive skin. Not very comfortable because of the stitching, too bad.

The shoe gapped widely with every step and would not stay on the foot.

They're too stiff for my foot. Loved the style, but it would cause blisters on my achilles for sure. They had to be sent back. Color is beautiful.

Returned as the flats looked cheap, and too orange

These are nice shoes, however, Have a narrow foot and they were way to big fell off my feet. If you area a narrow, do not buy these shoes!
