These are great boots. Although I have not done any significant touring in them (yet), I find them comfortable. The heel is a good height (not flat but not so high that it is an issue when I walk). They don't squeak or jingle (which I find with so many boots). NOTE: I find the picture color to be a bit off. Someone else commented on this. These are a softer leather and lighter color than the picture would suggest. But still really like them. I do not have big calves and these hug them (which I wanted). I don't know that adjusting the laces would actually help much if they didn't fit.

I love these boots, but they are too narrow for my legs. I tried expanding the backs with the laces but I did not like the look. Sadly I returned them. I hike a lot and have pretty big calf muscles.

I love these boots so much I am ordering another color! Look great with sweater dresses, jeans, leggings and just about anything I put them with!!

I’m writing this review after using these boots in various weather conditions. Once you adjust the laces to your legs, these boots are super comfortable and waterproof! The laces do need to be knotted so they don’t come undone but that is a minor detail. If you live where you need a true winter boot that is also stylish, don’t hesitate to purchase these.

This boots are perfect for winter. Warm & stylish. The suede uppers were great at keeping my feet dry - even when walking thru slushy snow.

These boots are just what I wanted but run a bit small so had to exchange them. I'm between a 6.5M and 7M -- I ordered the 6.5 and it's too small. If you are between sizes, I suggest sizing up. There's just enough heel to make them dressy yet still comfortable. I also like the lacing so they can be adjusted.

If you waver between 2 sizes I would go with the larger, particularly if you wear thicker socks.. When you get them they will seem quite tight around the calf, however because of the laces on the back they are adjustable which is great. They are beautiful and comfortable boots. I absolutely love them. Classic looking. The toe area is distressed looking and the rest of the boot is solid black.

I ordered a full size up and they fit great. I usually wear a wide and these fit great. Can loosen the laces to adjust calf tightness. I love these and am so glad I bought them!

So beautiful! They fit me perfectly, I have a med/small calf. They would def be too tight on a larger calf. Leather and lacing is gorgeous! I think I will invite them on a date tomorrow night!

Super comfy right out of the box. The ties are a bit of a hassle, but create a great style. Waterproof, too!

I love the color (coffee) and look of these boots. I’ve been wearing them around the house to break them in and they’re great except I keep getting a blister on one big toe. I bought an 11 and probably would be fine with an 11 1/2, but that isn’t made I guess. I’m going to keep trying for awhile because it will break my heart if I have to send these beautiful shoes back. Four stars because of the blister or it would be 5.

These boots are beautiful! I did have to go up a half size as the shoe part of the boot is quite fitted and I have a high arch. However, once I did get the 8.5 I found these boots to be extremely comfortable, with great cushioning in the footbed and supportive arch. As another review noted, once the boots were worn for a while,( just an afternoon in my home) the snug fit seemed to relax and shape more comfortably to my feet. I am so happy I decided to change the size and not give up on these beautiful boots. The lacing adds such a great look and the boot itself is so sleek looking with just the right amount of heel to make this boot very stylish and comfortable! I highly recommend the money spent is well worth it!

At first the boots were snug even with thin sock - but after reading the reviews, I wore them around the house for a couple of hours and now they are perfect !!! Excellent quality and I look forward to purchasing this brand again !!

The material of these boots is nice, soft leather. The sizing is about 1/2 size too small. I usually wear an 8.5, and the 8.5 boot fits snugly. I would have gone up a half size, but the calf was still too small. Very comfortable, but sadly will return.

Super cute style, but the Smoke color is more of a medium grey, and not the dark charcoal color I was expecting from the photos.

I had been watching this boot for some time and decided to buy the black suede. When I opened the box, I simply fell in love with them - exactly what I wanted. But when I tried the boot on, the calf area of the boot was way too tight, but the foot and instep were perfect size 8. I adjusted the ties in the back and it still didn't work for me. I am 5"7 and 145 lbs. Should have fit. I wanted to keep the boots so badly but decided to return them.

These are fantastic. They are a little pointer in the toe than I like, but not so much that I wouldn't wear them. The heel shape and height are exactly as I like them. The rubber grip bottom is wonderful. I don't understand smooth bottom boots that are just for show. The leather is nice and stiff. They are starting to mould to my leg and when I take them off, they stay standing. Not flimsy. I have small ankles but I run, so I have medium calves. These are fitted enough in the ankle portion to not give me the "cankles" I get from most boots. Not too loose or tight to have the leather rub. I love lace up boots for this reason. The laces are substantial so I shouldn't have to ever replace them. Very sexy like a corset for my legs. It makes an old sweatshirt dress look stylish. I also have wide feet (7w or 7xw). 7.5 fits just fine, like my Born boots of that size. I only wish the were as padded inside. The bourbon color is exactly as expected and very closely matches a leather crossbody I have. I would love these in the coffee brown (which is about like my hair, or the grey suede. However, those colors seem to have that pre-distressed look that I hate. The coffee brown looks blotchy in the pictures, which is not hold old leather wears out naturally. The grey looks like they rubbed asphalt or grease on the heel and toe. I don't understand this. I love buying new things that look new and they will wear out naturally on their own. This just looks ridiculous and ruins very expensive and pretty new boots. So to sum it up, the size is about right and not so narrow that wide feet can't wear them with a half size up. Not as padded as I expect for boots this price, but I don't have sensitive feet. Heel height is good for normal use. I wore them climbing ladders and putting up Christmas lights. Leather is nice and thick. Some colors are designed to look stupid.

Beautiful boot! High quality. Heel not too high. Stylish. Could be use as elegant and casual. Laces can be adjusted for wide calf. Sadly toebox not big enough for my bunion. Typically wear 7W or 7.5W

I really wanted to keep these, I LOVE how they look and the support inside was great. They were a tiny bit small in the width but I thought being leather that would ease up. My real issue was in the calf, I loosened the ties but I still had a hard time getting it zipped once I hit about half way up. I was afraid I would break the zipper if I kept zipping them. It also meant my pants seemed to bunch up more at my knees then in other boots. Sad to send them back. :(

Beautiful boots but not wide enough even though I ordered a half-size up. They're not as narrow as many shoes/boots, but I have bunions and can't tolerate much pressure on my big toe joint, and these are just not wide enough to be comfortable. If I order another half-size up they'll be too big. So back they go. Wish they came in a wider size!

These boots are comfortable right out of the box. The calf was I little tight but adjustable due to lace back. The only negative thing about my purchase is the color...not as pictured. I specifically purchased these boots to compliment a suede backpack I own but the color that arrived was definitely brown, not the Siena color depicted.

The foot area hurt. The leather was soft and beautiful. The style great. Just not comfortable.

Pointed toe too narrow for my medium-wide foot.

I received two right boots, apparently someone with two left feet is happy now.
