This boot looks great, but just didn't feel right when trying them on as the toe box was not adequate. Also, at this price-point, I expect a better build quality and found loose threads around the inner stitching? I'm looking for a boot that will hold up in 4- 12 mile daily hikes.

This boot looks great, but I started with my size, 10.5 and as wide as possible... and after three attempts, now sending back a 12/4E. For $175, the build is not great with thread pulling out, and the sole in one arrival completely mangled.
Greatly appreciate the return policy or I would've been stuck with expensive and inferior boots that didn't fit.

I felt good about these boots until I tried multiple solutions to stop the left boot from squeaking. It just started June 2024. I have not worn them excessively. I have tried sandpaper on outer sole. Vaseline on either side of tongue. Different insoles. Perhaps with wear it will stop. If not, they will be disposed of. If not for this I would have rated them much higher.

These were not comfortable to wear, they were hard on the soles and quite stiff. Sent them back.

While these boots were initially comfortable and sturdy, I was so disppointed when I took this boot on a Patagonian trek. I previously used the cloud plus lace up trekker for as my basic hiking and camping boot. I upgraded to the Cloud Plus Mid II Boot in preparartion for a trip planned a for 6 months and felt comfortable with it after a break-in period. What I didn't anticipate was my feet getting wet during some typical Patagonia downpours during long hikes. In addition to the bottom sole partailly separating from the toe, the soles were definitely not cushioned enough for prolonged periods of hiking over unstable hard rocks as a lot of the rock indentations were transmitted through the soles cause foot soreness. The soles need to be made more cushioned and sturdy and the boot is definitely not waterproof. I have enjoyed used Dunham shoes for years but this particular product fell short of my expectations at a particularly important time. It appears as if this product was not built well enough for this particular adventure trek.

They were definitely not what I expected . I ordered the boots for the 4 E size . But i would say that they might be a 2 E size . I have to really struggle to get them on and once i do they are very tight and hurt my feet . And the next thing is the inside sole is not comfortable at all . That's why I rated it two star . Will not buy this brand again .

Had bought my last Dunham hiking boots here, size 14 4E, they were perfect, this pair is far too narrow in the toe box to be considered 4E, returning boots

Bought these just a month and a half ago and have gone hiking twice for about 3 to 4 hours each time. They did a great job at keeping my feet dry, but my feet hurt quite a bit after each hike. The shoes fit well, especially with my 4E wide feet. I have some ASICS (running shoes) that are 4E, I wore on the next hike and my feet did not hurt, but my socks and shoes were soaked and I made some holes in them from some sticks poking through. Maybe my feet are just getting broken in to the new boots?! Haha

After one year of ownership and minimal use, an emblem has come off of the heal and exposed the inner sole. I was told this is normal, and that the boots were not defective. The soles show no wear, the boots are in good shape, but the heel is missing a piece.

Boots were too narrow. Definitely not a 4E width. Returned.

Great looking shoe, but very narrow. I purchased size 13 2E. I own other Dunham shoes/boots, I measured the soles of those shoes vs this one. This boot is 3/4" narrower in the middle of the shoe than the others.
