Wow these reviews are really all over the place, ha ha ha! I had to try 3 different sizes because I saw so many reviews saying these run small. From now on I will trust the majority, for I found these to be true to size. I'm normally a size and 9, and 9 fits me perfectly and looks awesome, with and without (thin) socks. FYI the toe box is uncomfortable because it's tapered, which is not how normal toes are made. Your big toe or little toe will contact the side unless you go a size larger. But if you do, then the shoe is longer and not very attractive, it's a tradeoff. I think these are true to size for people with narrow feet. Also, I think the heel is shorter than usual, in order to look more feminine, so your heel may pop out if you put inserts or wear thick socks. They're not suitable for rough all-day wear in my opinion (I think I'll invest in the Ugg Evera for that). A reviewer mentioned how there is some edge inside that irritated the top of her foot, you can remedy that by adjusting the tongue. I really love the look of these shoes, a femmy Converse, that has only 4 lace holes! But personally I don't like the knotted lace end, so I tuck mine inside to look clean. I bought this shoe for my last month of pregnancy. I could not bend over to tie my shoes so this was perfect and wide enough to accommodate my feet when they would swell. The reason for I didn't rate them a 5 is because Converse generally do not have arch support so after wearing all day they do become a bit uncomfortable, especially if you do a lot of walking.

I normally in chucks I wear an 8 . . . but I read the reviews about this particular shoe and everybody suggested to go half a size down, so I got a 7.5 However, they fit VERY tight, so I will have to order my regular size in 8. Love the look of the black and purple. :)

We all know that we don't buy converse for comfort, although they aren't the least comfortable shoes I own. However, they are super stylish. Especially these. I have thicker thighs and the regular lace up converse just don't make my legs look good. These, however, have a shorter vamp and are way more flattering. I got the Cloud Grey and it will literally go with everything. I can wear these shoes with jeans, shorts, leggings, etc. and they'll always look good. The comfort is what you would expect but I've been wearing them sans socks and have yet to get a blister, so that's a plus! My sister and her friends cannot stop making comments about how cute they are.

This one is going back, but it is my fault. Color says "natural" but looks really white on the monitor. It is a natural color and does not compliment my fair skin tone well. Fit is ok, a little more effort is required than just slipping it on, but overall it is a good shoe.

Loved the style but they run a little bit big and kept slipping off my heel, sadly they had to go back. Went with the original Chuck Taylors instead so I wouldn't have to worry about the elastic on the heel slipping off and going under my foot, and the slip on style can't be adjusted by the laces a whole lot. Really cute shoe though! Would definitely be great for going without socks in the summer.

Runs small compared to all my other chucks!

I already owned one pair of these shoes and they were the most comfortable pair I ever had. But I worn them down so decided to buy a second one. Ordered here from Zappos, but this second pair even though looks the same is completely different . Sooo uncomfortable !!! So painful to wear and I am so disappointed... trying to wear it in, but have blisters all over the place. I think manufacturer changed or something , to mess up the form of the shoe .

I really wanted these shoes to work out. I usually look for a wide width for a lot of shoes, but can often get away with a regular width for most brands. However, Converse is clearly not one of those brands. The other frustrating thing about this shoe is that it is clearly meant to be worn without socks, and yet the metal lace grommets across the top of the foot were uncomfortable against my skin. I will be returning them and ordering something similar in another brand.

I usually wear a 10 in Converse and I got an 11 to fit over an ankle brace on my right foot thinking this style would slip on. It sort of does, but was pretty true to size on my other foot. I haven’t had white ones in a long time, and if your feet are that big, they will still look huge. I’m kind of ish about the style but there was a sort of brushed coral color for summer that would be cute. I have been wearing one croc and one regular shoe to work so I am keeping them...I just don’t think white is flattering in a bigger size.

These are very cute but the positioning of the lace makes it very hard to walk around comfortably. I did not end up returning them because I had worn them a couple of times (hoping to loosen up the lace area but to no avail...the lace kept cutting into the top of my feet making it very painful!)

I purchased a pair of Shorelines along with a pair of Lift Slips in the same size, women's 11. The Lift Slip shoes feel amazing, very comfortable and roomy, no issues. The Shorelines, however, gave me blisters. The Shorelines don't feel tight or anything so it doesn't seem like a sizing issue but more the way they are constructed. It feels like the stitching and/or fabric is rubbing my two smallest toes on either foot. I've since purchased some no-show socks which certainly helps with the rubbing, BUT even though they are low profile shoe liners you can still clearly see them. It's not the end of the world but I find it mildly infuriating. Maybe after wearing them a few times they will break in, soften up and I can go back to wearing them without socks. Since I've worn them I can't return them so either I break the shoes or they break me.

I've always wanted to like these because they are so popular, but they just aren't comfortable for people with wide feet.

The shoe is really attractive but runs small. They definitely are not fir long walks if you need an arch support.

i had always wanted this shoe since I was younger so I decided to finally purchase a pair. They look nice on, however, they have very weird sizing. I ordered what I thought would be my size per other reviewers suggestions but it was still too large for my foot. It was also extremely narrow and hurt around my toe area. Not meant to be I guess.

I found the toe too narrow and uncomfortable, but I liked the slip-on aspect to it - great idea.

The shoes are cute but tried them on and immediately felt they would rub against the bone above my big toe. Had to return :(

OUCH!! I can't imagine who these would fit? They squish your toes (and I don't have a wide foot at all), and the elastic over the top of the foot is SO tight! Wish I could send them back but I cut them to try to get them to work. No go.

I love the look, but for sure its at least a half size too small. and made for narrow foot, I felt like I would get a blister on my small toe.

I have small feet and I usually buy the youth version of this slip on shoe. The youth version are slightly wider and a little squishier in the foot bed. I could not find this color in the youth version though, so I ordered this in the adult version. Big mistake. They are not even close to as comfortable to wear. I don't understand how they can be so different.

Very cute, but not a very comfortable shoe. It’s all about the style with this one.

Unfortunately, these were not the same as listed on the website with the same SKU Pictures and description are diiierent than what we actually received.

These shoes are cute. As expected there is no arch support. I had figured I’d use my inserts, but there’s really no room for anything extra. The stretchy back side slips off my heel with the inserts. Still classically cute and will keep to wear on light walking days.
