I am 5'11" and about 200 lbs. A large was snug but very comfortable even if layering.

The vest it's all you need, it warm and lightweight. Also if you conceal carry this is the vest for you, I highly recommend it for anyone

My husband loves it. Very comfortable and warm. My husband is 6'2" and 230lbs, and it fits him perfectly. We also ordered one in 2XL tall, and it was way too long for him. The quality is great: zippers are good, everything is stitched perfectly.

I got this for my boyfriend as an early Christmas present and he loves it! It does run a little big but does cinch up at the bottom if needed. Highly recommend!

Most clothing that claims to have a conceal carry pocket, it's usually pretty noticeable and typically not very secure. Ariat actually got it right. Pocket is big enough to fit a Glock 20 with hunting barrel and light and still isn't noticeable, while zipped the vest supports the weight really well. You won't be winning any fast draws at high noon, that's what a holster is for, but for clothing carry its pretty great. The fit is always a little weird for me with vests. As a 6'4" skinny guy(175pounds) I typically wear medium shirts, I got a small for the vest and it gives me plenty of room for a hoodie underneath. Color is good too. Website doesn't have the tan brown color I found in a western store. Pockets and vest are lined with a very soft insulating material. Holds claim to stopping wind. If you're a gun slinger or not this is a perfect addition to your wardrobe.

I am a vest type of a guy. Ive had many and this guy right here is a great vest. The fleece liner is light enough to keep you cozy not Toasty indoors as well as outdoors. Im a big guy at 350 and the vest was an awesome fit at 4XL. The inside conceal carry breast pocket has a good large opening for easy removal of your standard sized handgun. A great Sturdy zipper. Has 1 deep inside pocket with elastic bands to secure your weapon. Two deep outside pockets. Mid-weight. The only thing that I would have done differently is make the collar smaller or make it laydown properly. It kinda has a mind of its own, may be made like that intentionally, but it wants to stay sticking up and it slightly bothers me. Its long enough but not tool long you know. I would without a doubt purchase another one and feel good to give it as a gift.
