I bought my first pair of these in a tan color at dillards for a casual shoe to wear with jeans. I’m generally a 6.5 wide but these were wide enough in medium, and I ended up with a 6M. I usually wear them without socks but have worn with thin socks also. The leather is thick and nice quality. I’m not sure what the other reviewer was referencing I found the shoe very stable and extremely comfortable right out of the box. I now have in tan and navy and even though I have a pair of black pikolinos loafers will probably order the black from Zappos as it is the only color they carried but they are so comfortable I can’t resist.

Very comfortable shoes, soft and flexible material. Brought them on a work trip the day after I got them and had no issues at all. Also got compliments on the style! Seriously considering buying a second pair in black and will definitely get more from this brand.

Love these shoes! Super comfy right out of the box. They run big, though. I had to return and order half size smaller than usual.

I was on the fence about keeping these. They were true to size and pretty comfortable, except I wasn’t thrilled with the smaller sole on the shoe, I almost felt like I was teetering on them.

These shoes feel very loose. I have to wear thicker socks to keep them on my feet.

Love this style! They'll be great with jeans in my casual workplace. Bought them in black in a 7M, a half size down from the 7.5 M/C I wear in nearly every brand but Born. They look good, although maybe a slightly chunkier on my foot than I expected due to the thickness of the leather. Good quality, very comfortable right out of the box and are so cushioned that it feels like I'm wearing slippers. I have a wider foot with a narrower heel and try to buy a C width if I can find it--often a M is too narrow for me and a W is too wide. Born runs slightly wide, so a Born M is usually perfect for me, but the heel is always a bit large. These fit like other Born shoes I've had. The width is just right and I think they'll be fine for me if they maintain their structure and don't stretch too much in the heel.

I have feet like a duck. I have trouble getting shoes that are wide enough. I have sent back many pairs. After reading the reviews, I thought I'll give them a chance. I usually have pretty good luck with BORN shoes. First off I was able to get my feet in them. Then they didn't hurt anywhere. I'm keeping them and waiting for winter to wear them.

These are great in several areas: The toe box has plenty of space for my slightly wider forefoot, there's a decent amount of support and cushioning for being on my feet 75% of the day, they can pass my professional dress code well enough, and they don't look "granny." One downside is that my feet slip on the heel, but a half size down would be too small. Some thick inserts should do the trick. There's apparently no such thing as a professional loafer with great arch support, a wide-toebox, and no heel, but this is as close as I've gotten, so they will work!

Comfortable and cute shoe that will elevate any casual outfit.

I really wanted another pair of Born loafers like the ones I bought quite a few years ago. They had good arch support. This new pair looked nice, but there is no arch support at all. I got some arch support inserts, but couldn't get them in. Also, there isn't enough room in the toe box.

This is the most inconsistent shoe I have ever purchased from Born. I wear an W8.5. I ordered in black size 8.5 - felt like a 7.5 and returned it. Reordered it in blue size 9 - felt like a 10 and measured against a size 9 Born boot was a full inch longer! How can one shoe be so inconsistent? Disappointed!

This loafer is a very comfortable cushy shoe. I would have kept it for the comfort alone but I needed a Loafer with more structure that could be dressed up a bit. This loafer is more moccasin like.

The shoes are great in every way. They’re stylish, they fit well, they’re sturdy and comfortable. Standard Born! Love them.

I thought....oh these are cute. I tried them on and holy moly. They were so comfortable. They could look like shoeboxes and I would still wear them...they are that comfortable. Something about the sole makes it feel like a massage or clouds.

Love these loafers. Very comfortable. I have a wider foot and normally go with a 10.5. These size 10 regular width loafers fit perfectly.

After reading the reviews saying this shoe run large and to order a half size down in which I did......the shoe fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I ordered 2 pair, one in black and one in tan. I love the cork on the sole.....very stylish!

Great casual shoes. Perfect with jeans or tailored pants. Comfortable right out of the box. Following others who have purchased these, I bought a half size smaller. They are absolutely perfect.

Since these are worn with no socks or thin pads, I should have ordered a half size smaller. I’ll just use an insert of sorts. It’s a fabulous shoe.

Really like these. I've been looking for a pair of comfortable brown loafers that don't make my feet look huge and have durable soles. These fit the bill! I sized down from an 8 to a 7.5 based on reviews (I'm a true 8) and that was the right call; there is even room for thin trouser socks. Really like these!

Very comfortable when worn without footies. Great for times when you are doing lots of walking.

A good looking, well made shoe, and just what I was looking for. However, had to return as a 9 was too big. Will opt for 8 1-2 if available and keep fingers crossed, as some 8 1/2s brands are too short.
