Used this set a few times now, mainly got it for the large sturdy pot and heavy duty skillet since we are car campers feeding a family of 4 and primarily using a large camp stove. Our previous thinner cookware warped and dented from direct flames, but that's not an issue with this set. I'm really happy with how the cookware performs and how everything fits together. There is even a diagram etched in the set to show you the correct order to get everything to fit perfectly inside the pot. The sporks, utensils and small plates are not that useful, but the bowls are nice and the trivet and drying rack are very nice addition to a camp kitchen. I'm definitely going to be looking into more Stanley camp gear to expand our camp kitchen.

Love how compact it is. Seems like very good quality. We are looking forward to doing overland camping trips out in New Mexico and Utah this will be prefect!!

I bought this as a shower gift for my son and future daughter-in-law. It was on their registry. It looks nice and will fit together compactly, making it easier to pack with their new tent and other camping gear.

I really like the full kitchen base camp set. It is well made and everything packs together very compact and organized. It was a nice surprise to see the sporks were numbered, that really helps out with a family of four.

We have nothing bad to say. Well built. Compact size. Love it.

Beautiful all-in-one kit. Works wonderfully. Goes back together every time and doesn't take up much space.

Got a chance to use my stuff this weekend. I took the time to pre-season the fry pan beforehand. Everything performed flawlessly on the trail.

I'm getting this rating request before I've used the cookware so will update once I've done so, but it seems great for car camping and the nesting is just a great space saving feature. Feels durable, like I'll be using it for years. My first impression is very positive.

We've had this kit for a few years now (along with the two cup sets), and it's still working out great for our family. You get a lot for the small space this set takes up. No issues with the pot & pan, they cook and clean well. The one fault I would give this set is the plastic spatula, I would never cook with plastic in general. That said, we just swapped it out with a metal one so no big deal. It really is a great set for the money.

We used this set on our first camping trip to Mt. Hood. I hate clutter when camping and this was really nice. All stowed in one pot and it worked really well. It is great for car camping, heavy duty and had everything I needed, even a cutting board.

We used this to prepare food for our family of 5 on the trail and it worked wonderfully. The nesting is great and pots are lightweight yet sturdy.

Love this set. It was a perfect replacement for my old "cheap stuff" Everything fits nicely in the main pot, and they give you a break down list on the lid for easy re-packing. For me this set was a game changer in keeping my gear neat and tidy.

I wish it had 2 more of everything.

Well worth the money! Has everything one needs at a base camp/any camp. Well thought out and even has instruction on how to re-nest every piece etched into the lid.

This is my favorite cookware and I have years worth of cookware from a myriad of vendors. This is the cats meow. Great for cooking and cleans up quick.

this thing rocks. i have gone through a few different camp setups and this is so well thought out and the usual great Stanley build quality. I do not write reviews normally, but I camp a lot and this is already a contender for the "buy it for life" category.

I carry my Stanley Base Camp when remote camping on a lakeside ledge in far North Idaho. There is not much room on the ledge, but I use my Base Camp on an Uberleben stove that burns any biomass fuel available. The whole system is terrific, compact and efficient! Highly recommended!

Very versatile. I use it for car camping. Get a lot of use from all the crew and hods up.

I did some research on a bunch of different cookware kits and ended up on this one, and I was not let down at all. I needed something that would be able to handle a large group of people, plates that would be easy to clean and nest, and something that had more than just a pot and a few small plates. This set exceeded my expectations, especially with the quality of the plates and bowls, so easy to wipe clean! I was also very impressed with the drying rack and the fact that you can use the hot plate pad as a cutting board to avoid scoring up a plate. The holder keeps everything together very nicely and the nesting order lets you carry a lot of stuff, and even has room for extra utensils or other food things you would want to stash for food prep. The only downside to this is that because it is stainless steel, you will have to do cook differently, do some light seasoning before using it and some light upkeep to keep this set non-stick. Not too big of a learning curve, but its necessary to avoid stuck food.

The Stanley Base Camp Cook Set is a solid piece of equipment. It has a good degree of weight, what you want in base camp cooking gear. The nesting feature makes super easy to pack and not forget the basic set of utensils and plates.
