Love this system, great features. The mesh on the filtration portion if the press is very fine so you don't have to worry about grounds in your coffee. I just wish it came with mugs like the 2 cup cooker system does.

Can you make this in mug size 13oz? I could have used this 50yrs ago! I love the outdoors as much as I love my coffee! It is super versatile, and you can use it as a strainer, if you boiled pasta in another pot, pour it into the press and pull the press up with pasta inside. Thank you, I love mine!

This is so easy to use and simple design. I like the simple boil in the metal pot, handles stay cool, push down the insert and you have good coffee.

I use this for all of my cooking needs when solo camping. Makes great coffee and cooks an egg in the perfect breakfast sandwich size. I can pack my stove and fuel in the pot for space saving. I usually cram even more in if I'm backpacking. I never want to be without my Cook + Brew Set.

Used this product recently on a kayak camping trip. Fit my 16 oz coffee cup and camp stove inside for space saving. This product worked just as intended and made tasty hot coffee. It fit well in my camp kitchen dry bag. Great product, would recommend to others. Used for coffee and other cooking needs.

The Adventure Cook+Brew Set is a must-buy. I bought one for camping, but loved it so much I bought a second one that I leave in my cupboard. I've used this on the home stove, camp stove, and wood stove at the workshop - just can't get enough of it! I already had the flask, but now I'm a Stanley faithful for life :)

Loved it. Accidentally burned it with no water on a stove after a year and it still worked, but was ugly. Gave it to my roommate. Got another one. The new one has an odd texture compared to the old one inside. The old one was much much smoother, just like the outside is. I'm confused as to this quality change with the price going up.

Absolutely love everything about this except for the handles. I wish it had more of a sturdy handle.

Great press, light weight and, by filling the inner press part, really takes up little space. One suggestion; make the lid flanges longer except for the pour spout area so when the lid is placed in any but pour configuration the pot becomes almost spill proof.

Really like it. Taking 1 star off because when pouring coffee it spills out between the pot and press insert. If they add an o ring at the top to seal it it's perfect.

Sturdy, reasonably light weight(car camping only, I use on fishing trips).
Obviously does not keep coffee hot or warm, not insulted. I just pour into thermos bottle after brewing.

I love having a french press style coffee maker that I can put directly onto the flames for heating up my water. It makes much better coffee than a peculator style. I think the design is great with the exception to a few things. I think about whether there is any health concerns with using plastic like material for the press and lid in piping hot water. The lid for the press is a different type of plastic and gets really hot plus you can't use it during the boil. I am still working it out with Stanley but I have ordered a few of these and the handles do not sit flush with the cup. Stanley have been great to work with on this end. If I were to redesign this I think I would just make it with a typically metal french press and SST lid.

I make good coffee at home (fresh roasted, appropriate grind size, pour over, french press, moka pot, etc.). This product is great in concept (portability, all-in-one, rugged) and actually makes good tasting coffee if you have the right coffee grinds and ratios. The problem is that it leaks out the sides when you're ready to pour it out and serve. It's fine if you're camping, and you have coffee dribbling out to the dirt, but it is annoying that you're wasting perfectly good coffee. If you were making at home, you should definitely pour into your mug over a sink. This is not typically required when using a normal french press.

Almost got it with this cook set. A few modifications and it would be perfect! Make the pot and press wider. Nest 2 mugs in it. Make the mugs large enough to hold a small isobutane canister. Maybe a little extra room at the top for an ultra small stove (BRS ultralight stove maybe) and some foldable utensils. Also, have the handle swing over the top to lock it closed.

I got this French press about a year ago. Everything worked great and I recommend it to many people??? up until about 3 months ago: the coffee started sloshing out of the sides when I press it or pours on my counters when I pour a cup of coffee. I make sure not too have too much water/ coffee so it doesn???t over flow. What could be wrong!? I???m a mom of two kids under 4 and a college student. Coffee is not an option. ????

We have used this coffee pot daily for 13 months and yesterday the handle broke off while I was picking up a full pot. Catastrophe averted, but dissapointed in the quality of the handle. I knew from day 1 the handle felt sketchy and babied it, but it finally gave out. Loved the pot, but will go with something else this time.

Unable to use it, the press insert will not release from the outer metal container.
Make sure this can be removed before you buy it.

Mine is broken the first time I tried to take off the inner cup from the outer one. So please be careful when you use it. And also, you need to grind the coffee bean with a really big size.

This product really seemed like it was going to wipe two items off my pack list, but the press doesn't fit into the pot properly. It's not dented from shipping or anything. It's just way too tight to be able to put them together
