I bought it for a road trip that failed. Currently it is used daughter's lunches. She shares with 3 other girls. It keeps the food hot, we had complaints. :/ If I could add to this awesomeness, it would be a divider/sleeve that would allow for toasted cheese sandwiches to stay warm, yet not wet, to rest on it while keeping the tomato soup below hot. Thank you for making an awesome product.

I bought this and put ice in it 48 hours ago, with the lid just resting on the top one day, sealed the next. It still has ice in it! I only wanted an ice bucket. Couldn't find one even close to being this nice and they were all wanting the same money. Good job on this one Stanley.

Make a pot and lid that fit inside the adventure vacuum crock. This product then will be able to be used as a thermal cooker!
I think product will take off in America.

This has been great for a day of skiing! I have been making chili, soups, meatballs etc for days of skiing. It stay hotter than expected and we are getting a great meal. It paid for itself in no time. As it held enough to feed 6-8 people.

I was given this as a gift, within a week I managed to break the plastic hinge that holds the lid. I contacted Stanley customer service with a photo (I didn't even have a receipt since it was a gift) via email... hoping, but doubting that I can get a replacement part. Within the hour, I received an email informing me that they would be shipping a replacement. Wow, I'm a believer! As for the crock, I use it to make my yogurt, but I'm sure I will find plenty of other uses too.

We travel a bit on the motorcycle and feel guilty showing up at gatherings without a dish to pass. The 3qt crock works great! Cook the food then promptly put it into the crock and seal the lid. After a long days work or play the food is still hot and ready to eat. The crock fits nicely into my backpack.
New product idea: Create a way to stack 2 crocks using an inner vacuum lid for the lower crock and the existing clasps to connect the crocks. Also include a backpack type option to contain the 2 stacked crocks and spoons. This will allow us to haul a main course and a dessert. I'll be happy to try it out and report back.
Thanks for creating the Adventure Vacuum Crock 3qt.

Following my trip I was looking forward to a good hot meal. This morning I prepped my 3 qt Adventure Vacuum Crock with hot water and brought my soup to a boil before I put it in the Crock. There are 4 locking snaps that hold the lid in place. Once it is sealed it has a really sturdy feel in your hand. After 14 hrs the vacuum that had formed held the lid and it gave a good pop as I opened it. My soup had cooled off some but that is to be expected. It was still hot enough to not have to heat it up before I started eating. I also used it as an Ice bucket while staying at the hotel so that I didn't have to go to the ice machine a couple of times a day. Once again Stanley didn't let me down.

This crock is just great keeping my favorite chile piping hot on the coldest days ice fishing as I sit in my clam shelter with my heater.
Its great for tailgating parties as well. LL Bean has them at there Freeport store as of 02/08/2016.
Any outdoors person would be pleased to own. Great value.

Preparing for an adventure you keep in mind how you will stay fueled. As the seasons have been changing, having warm food is always nice but you don't want to have to rely on a fire when winds kick up or have to bring a stove along. This crock fills the need for longevity or warmth and ease of use. We usually prepare a meal in the crock pot at home the night before and load it into this crock the morning of, get to our final destination and enjoy.

I have gotten a lot of use out of this, I love the fact it holds enough for a family of four to enjoy and keeps our meal hot for hours. We take it on all our day trips.

Works just as it should! Excellent product keeping hot or cold. Is indeed Spill proof. One less star for packaging... scratched the outside trying to get off a dumb manufacture sticker : (

We've had ours for about a year now and it's been one of the best additions to our portable kitchen. I think when this item first came out, it wasn't clear what it could be used for. I immediately saw it as a great option for tailgating when you don't want to fuss with a full camp stove. There's also nothing else like it on the market. It's truly a unique item. We've mostly used it for hot stews and soups while ice fishing or snowboarding. Sometimes a nice hot meal can make all the difference in the cold. It really does an amazing job at keeping things piping hot, especially if you use it for stuff with a relatively high water content. I preheat it with hot water and people are shocked every time they open the lid and steam comes pouring out. We've impressed enough of our friends with this that a couple of them have gone out and purchased their very own! My only advice is to not use this item for extremely liquidy things like really brothy soups or drinks. Because of the vent hole in the top, it can easily leak out. For those kinds of foods, I would recommend something like the Classic Legendary Bottle for instance and then you also don't have to fuss with utensils.
We haven't used the crock for cold stuff but I could see it being great for ice cream or delicate desserts that you want to serve very cold on a hot day.
Also I know it says handwash only but we've accidentally put it in the dishwasher a couple of times and it's held up great.

It's actually too small. They need to offer a 4 Qt product. This one isn't adequate for most tailgate stews, etc. it's a great ideaneeds an update!

I love the Adventure Stay Hot Camp Crock. I received this as a gift and started using it immediately. While I use it for keeping meals hot on camping trips, I found that it's great for Sous Vide cooking. I have a "Joule" Sous Vide cooker and it fits perfectly inside of the crock for smaller entrees such as single steaks, salmon, or chicken thighs. I use is all the time now. Only fault I've found is that the clips that hold on the top on are relatively fragile. Already broke one. Hoping the lifetime warranty addresses it.

We love this crock! I freeze a bunch of meals in advance of ski season and reheat to take for the day. The crock keeps everything hot until lunch and keeps us from the junk food in the lodge. I wish the clips were better quality. Maybe a metal hook that looped over a plastic hook similar to the growler thermos with the attached lid.

I purchased two of these crocks with the intention to use them for camping. So far, we've used them for road trips and trips to the beach. It easily holds enough food for six people. It allows you to take homemade food that you love. Trust me, you will save money by not having to eat every meal in a restaurant. If you use it twice, it will pay for itself.
It kept our food warm for 12 hours. Tip: Heat the crock with boiling water before you put your food in. Also, if you make sure your food is piping hot when you put it in, I'm sure it will remain piping hot well past the 12 hour mark.
I'm certain we will get plenty of use out of this with camping, road trips, beach weekends, tailgating, potlucks etc. You can even use it as an ice bucket. The possibilities are endless.

Great product to use as a traveling water bowl for my dog. I have had problem with the plastic latches that seal the lid. When I broke the 1st latch Stanley sent me a brand new crock. Now I have broken 4 more latches and have run out of parts to cannibalize.

I bought this for potlucks. However, opening it is hard AND it's under pressure. It has a small rubber tab on top but no instructions on how to use. I'm afraid if it's under pressure and something hot is inside, I'll burn myself.

I was excited to use the crock to keep some chilli hot during an outing. 4 hours into our trip we popped the lid off and the chilli was only luke warm. Far from 12 hours it advertised. I prewarmed the crock with hot water to help and the crock was kept in a top of the line cooler ( with no ice) to help keep it from cool air so i believe it would have even lost more heat if i did not take those measures.
One of the plastic lid clamps broke the first time i used it but it still sealed well.
Best thing is that it doesnt allow the contents to spill.

I love the Stanley brand very good in some products, but in this cituation it is not very good the inscription "the hot food does not last the time that indicates 12 hours".

I bought this for Christmas as a gift for a rugged camper. You think crock pot either you plug it in or throw it on the fire or grill. No actually it is just a thermos. There is no cooking involved. I just noticed when I went to put with the camp stuff it can't be used "on a stove or other heating appliance". Just call it what it is a thermos. An expensive thermos.
