Super comfortable, but the color is too dark in person. Wish it came in a lighter tan!

I have purchased Born boots in the past and when I ordered these boots I forget that they run half size big - so I had to return them.

I ordered a half size up as many of the reviews suggested but they were too long for me. Also too wide for me, but that was not a surprise sinceI have very narrow feet, but Born Boots always fit perfectly but these were too wide and most Born shoes are also too wide for me. Beautiful leather and style. I would reorder my true size of 6.5, but they would still be too wide.

I love these boots - not too tall and not too short. Only problem is that they fit a bit on the narrow side. I already have narrow feet and even with thin socks I found them a little tight. I'm waiting to see if my size comes back in stock as well as the next size up to do a some comparison. Thankfully Zappos has fantastic return and exchange policy!

These are well-made boots. I got the grey full grain color and they are beautiful. I wanted these to work for my narrow heels and wide toes. They almost worked, but, in order to keep them from slipping on my heels, the spot where the heel meets the ankle rubs too much; something about the stitching there. I may try 1/2 size larger; they are nice boots, if only I can get them to fit well.

I like these boots but don’t totally love them. They look very nice, and are comfortable, but I have been wearing Taos Crave boots for a few years now and these boots just don’t match in comfort (although they do look more refined and streamlined than the Crave).

Very stylish shoes, but less functional than I'd hoped. The sizing on this shoe style is a little snug - I have other Born shoes in my size that fit perfectly, so I was surprised when this style felt tight. Even with very thin socks they feel slightly too tight. The upper tabs for the shoelaces are slightly too large, and keep getting caught on parts of the shoe or laces when I cross my feet at the ankles.

The length was fine, but I have very long narrow feet so it was gapping over top sides of the boot. Even snugging up the laces, I couldn’t get it narrow enough. Size 10 AA

I have always liked Born shoes and found them comfortable. However this particular one was very uncomfortable-- the leather was very stiff and unforgiving- there by causing pain. Shall be returning both pairs.

the shoes in the box were sized 7, not the 8.5 I ordered.
