I used to LOVE Born shoes- why they changed to this pointy toe is beyond me - round toes are MUCH more comfortable- also does not seem to have as much arch support :(

Update to my first review. Feel like an idiot. There was a hard shell in the shoe that was really hard to remove so I thought it was part of the shoe and left it in when I tried the shoe on and subsequently couldn’t get my foot it. Yanked harder on the shell a little later and got my foot it. Still difficult to get it on but not impossible and I’m sure it would soften over time. Still decided to return.

Cute boots but incredibly tight. I couldn't even get my foot in to try them on and I have normal width and am a consistent 9.5. A size and a half bigger could possibly work, could probably work for someone with very narrow feet.

I wear a size 8.5 in BORN but when they came they were too big. I returned them and got the 8. LOVE them, like really LOVE them. I love the fit, the style, the way they look with jeans!

The Born brand makes quality well fitting comfortable shoes with great style. I have purchased several Born shoes over the years absolutely love them.

These are so comfy, I've been wearing them almost every day in this cold snowy weather. I have to park in an unpaved lot and walk through muck, and these keep my feet warm and dry. I would say they run slightly big for Born, but I almost always use a 3/4 insole in my shoes, and thicker socks, so with those they fit great.

Just received these shoes and walking around the house. Ugh, the soles are very squeaky on my hardwood floors. I really like the look and feel of these shoes but the squeaky factor might be a deal breaker. Not sure if this would wear off once I break them in?

I have several styles of Born booties and love them all for their comfort on both my feet (about 1/2 size different in length). These are made on a narrower last with a slight western look- which I love. But the narrower toe area is just not what I want and not as comfortable as my others. On my smaller foot, the boot felt too long and my foot sloshed around some. The style is gorgeous, the taupe a more neutral dove brown than pictured on my screen (prettier, to me, this way) but the fit isn't good enough for me to keep them. I tend to wear a 9.5 in Born booties, and that's what I ordered, so they're true to size. Just not right for two different size feet. Moderate arch support, as usual. Great zippers and straps/buckles.

Let me start by saying that I love Born shoes. I own several of them. I wanted brown boots and saw these on sale and ordered them. Unfortunately, they are too tight around my ankles and calves. I will look for another style.

Fit and size perfect - I wear a size 8.

These are amazing boots....cute, stylish, and comfortable. They do run big, however. I ordered a half size smaller than usual.

These are a cute ankle boot that I wear with skinny jeans. They are very comfortable and have a little bit of a 'biker' look, but are also feminine.

The color is duller in person. Not as vibrant or warm toned.

Really uncomfortable to struggle into. Not for anyone with high arches. Got my usual size & socks would have made it impossible to get on. Returned

The fit for me is great, I love the color, and the details of this bootie lend a lot of style.

Great support, sturdy yet not too stiff. The shaded/oiled toe look is not as shaded as it appears. I have a narrow heel and prefer a roomy toe box and this boot provides it all!!! Oh and comfortable!!! And...its a fun boot that will withstand snow and wind:)

gorgeous, stylish, comfortable, accommodates my orthotic, nice toe room, fits snug enough in the heel so no slippage. I have problem feet so fit sometimes takes a lot of purchase and return. The first one was a bit too snug, so I thought I went up a half size but apparently it was the same size, just fit much better. It's a keeper. I have three pair of BORN boots, all very comfortable.

Love Born boots and these are no exception! Always get compliments when wearing them.

I have a narrow heel so its a challenge to find boots/booties that fit without heel slippage. Nice leather and comfortable. Thanks.
