Been using the bag about three weeks now and love it. The only complaint I have is the straps seem not as rugged as the rest of the bag feels

Overall it's a great pack. Getting into the main pouch and small front pouches is quick and easy. The only downside I had first using the pack was the internal organization of the pack is meant for larger flat items like laptops and folder files. There is a decent sized loop field in the back most pocket that you can add most hook-backed pockets or organizer panels to allowing you to customize the internals of the pack for your needs.

I bought this bag about a month ago. My only issue with the bag is how there are no places to secure lose straps and the bag doesn't fit me well (this maybe an error on my part).
Be sure to get the proper size.

I travel for work and love the pack for its healthy amount of internal real estate but could use an improvement on smaller storage areas inside the gut and laptop pocket.
Overall very impressed with the product just needs some fine tuning for detail storage.

Great durable backpack. Fits comfortably on your back but it could use some more inner zippered pockets to hold and separate smaller items. Could also use a water pack holder.

This is a well made pack, as you would expect. I found the loading and unloading a little cumbersome compared to the tri-zip design that they are known for. I ended up getting a 2 day assault pack for my everyday use instead. I would recommend it, but it is not as usable as an actual Alice that it is modeled after. As long as you know that going in you won't be disappointed. It is very comfortable!

Seems like a lot of other people have gone into a lot of detail on this bag, so I'll hit on the major bits. Love the tuck away waist straps to help when you're going long/have a heavy load. Magnetic rip ups are sick, and speed up access. Front pockets are great, but access is a little tough for bigger hands. The PALS on the sides/top and daisy chain allow you to hook quick stuff and also increase carrying capacity with pouches, gear. As another mentioned, would've been nice to have more meat in the shoulder straps, though not a deal breaker for me. MR - can you make some strap on shoulder pads?? And another comment I find the most room for improvement is that the front and side pockets, when used, eat up precious cargo room on the interior. Not stoked on that. All considered, it's a keeper and definite upgrade from my North Face Recon, and much less 'hey look at me, I"m in the military' than my issued bags.

Love this pack, especially the design, kind of stands out from the crowd. The quality seems to be very good, with no issues. The only recommendation I would have is that the pack itself is on the heavy side, would be nice if it was a little lighter

Design update and volume increase are great plus to RR product line. Additional pockets here and there, bottle pockets on the side (nice!), decent laptop pocket. All excellent update.
My disappointment were the carry...shoulder straps and waist belt, as well as the material used on these are weren't the best. They feel thin and no space mesh like old MR. I live in hot humid climate most of year and having space mesh somewhat mitigate heat build up. That's my only concern of this great EDC pack.

I've had the Rip Ruck 32 for a few weeks now and have used it as my EDC bag and for a ruck up Scafell Pike in the Lake District of England, UK. In my opinion, it is a phenomenal bag, but it does have its issues. Primarily, comfort. Heavier loads in the Rip Ruck can be uncomfortable because of the thin foam support provided by the shoulder straps. Not an issue for loads less than 25lbs, but anything over that gets uncomfortable quick.

I purchased this bag about 8 months ago as of this review. I LOVE this bag to throw in my truck or take with my quadding, it would be my go-to hiking pack IF ONLY IT HAD A FRAME. Size? Perfect. Quality? Excellent? Comfort? Awful. This bag is good for no more than 20lbs for a day hike. The padding on the lower back is just frankly awful if worn for over an hour. Also: why bother with waist straps with no frame? The bag ends up folding like a crouton whilst worn. This would be my all around go-to bag for EVERYTHING if it had that frame. I didn't purchase the bag for that intent and purpose, but from designer to designer, don't make a bag aesthetically beg to be worn outdoors and not give it the potential to do so, especially in this price bracket. I wanted to love this bag, but the wasted potential is just disappointing, frankly. I know mysteryranch is world class in pack design, this is not an oversight I would expect from such an esteemed company.

For the most part, the build quality is good. The only issue I have is one of the zippers on the main latch has a bit of a hiccup midway through. Hopefully it is rectified with further break in.
Some design considerations that I'm not a fan of. The water bottle carriers are too loose, and there aren't any ways of cinching them down for tightness. I can't count how many times my HydroFlask has fell on my head as I've bent over to pick something up. Additionally, the strings on the small, magnetic latches always come loose. Potential for loss.
